Entry for September 9, 2006
Here we are just past midnight and I am up. I should be doing homework. In a few hours we will be getting ready for our first day at the new congragation we will attend.
I have had alot on my mind of late. We don't know if our Father in Heaven will alow us to keep William after he is born. I have petitioned to Father to alow us to keep him at least through Christmas so that Benjamin can have some memories of Will. Of course, we hope and pray to keep him longer.
Though we do not know the mind or will of God we find peace in the words of his servants:
"Those who suffer great adversity and sorrow and go on to serve their fellowmen develop a great capacity to understand others. Like the prophets, they have acquired a higher understanding of the mind and will of Christ." (Carlos H. Amado, of the Second Quorum of Seventy The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, October 1989 General Conference)
