Summary: Luke and Mara are getting married but something bigger comes into their lives. Mara and Luke met someone while on their honeymoon. Set shortly after Callista left.

�I am up Farmboy,� Mara said as she sat up and pulled him down.
�So what do you have planned for today,� Luke said as he leaned down to kiss her.
�Well at noon Leia and I have more wedding arrangements to handle,� Mara said.
�I have to go back to the academy for a few days,� Luke said.
�How many days are a few and when are you leaving,� Mara asked.
�Four or five day and in about four hours,� Luke said.
�That means you and I have four hours,� Mara said.
Luke bent down his head and kiss her full on the lips. His hand went underneath the blanket that was between them and felt that she still had on a t-shirt. He lifted his body from hers and pulled the blanket from under him and tossed it to the floor while never breaking the kiss. His hand then went to her leg and started to move up to her high thigh and then the hem of the shirt. Mara hands were not as still as he had thought them to be, while he tried to pull her shirt up she had already unzipped his pants. Iit didn�t take them long to wiggle out of their clothing. His mind opened up to hers as hers opened up to him and they became one mind and one body. Nether one could describe the feeling that they were feel or projecting into the other. Each one felt their climax coming, as they tried to linger in the sensation that was going through their bodies. Luke gave one last deep thrust before falling on to her body. After a few minutes he lifted his head to see her green looking at him. Leaning forward she gave him one last kiss before he gently rolled off of her.
�God I love you,� Luke said.
�I know,� Mara said.
�Think you can go five days without me,� Luke said.
�I�ll try my hardest,� Mara said.
Some hours later they both got out of the bed and began to get ready for their day. Luke had to pack for his trip back to Yavin IV while Mara began to get ready for her shopping trip with Leia. At the way Mara was looking at the place he knew that when he came back his apartment it was going to have a different look to it. Luke had changed to his usual Jedi blacks and Mara had changed to a pair of black pants and purple shirt. She had her blaster and lightsaber on her belt and her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she wore the heart necklace again.
�Mara where you�d get this,� Luke asked pointing at her necklace.
�I don�t know I�ve had for as long as I could remember,� Mara said.
�Could it have been from your parents,� Luke said.
�It might�that could explain the engraving,� Mara said.
�Engraving,� Luke question.
�Yes there�s only one�DJ and a date about 2 years before my birth,� Mara said.
�Well it pretty,� Luke said.
A few minutes later they heard a buzz at the door and already knew who it was, Luke grabbed his bags and Artoo followed him. Mara sat down and fumbled with the necklace for a few more moments as she heard Luke and Leia say their goodbyes and wait for Mara to enter the room. Mara stood up and began her way towards the door where Leia stood and waiting for them too to go out. Mara kissed Luke goodbye and said she wouldn�t do any dramatic changing of the apartment just adding a few things and they were off.
�So for curtains blue, green or white,� Mara asked.
�Why not black it goes with the couch better,� Leia said.
�Right,� Mara said.
�So Luke is ok with you changing some things,� Leia said.
�He said don�t get rid of any of the furniture and don�t paint anything,� Mara said.
�So that means we can add things,� Leia said.
�Yes like new bath towels, dishes, bedding,� Mara started.
After two hours of shopping they had got most of the things Mara wanted to buy. They had also started to make wedding arrangements, when Leia realized it was lunchtime. They went to a local Corellian restaurant that Han had taken Leia to on several occasion in there years together. Leia ordered her normal dish and Mara ordered the same thing.
�So why�d you choose this,� Mara said.
�Han asked me if we could met him here for Lunch today,� Leia said.
�How are you fine ladies this afternoon,� Han said.
�Great Mara bought a ton of stuff for her and Luke�s apartment,� Leia said.
�As long as you didn�t it ok with me,� Han said.
�No I just bought one thing,� Leia said and Mara looked at her.
�What you�d buy,� Han asked while looking at the menu.
�A couch since the one we have is two years old,� Leia calmly.
�Your joking right,� Han said seriously.
�Yes I didn�t buy a thing�unless you count some make up,� Leia said and Mara began to laugh along with Leia.
�I hope Luke knows what he getting into,� Han said.
�I�m sure he does dear,� Leia said.
Mara walked back into the apartment and for the first time in the week she would be alone. She had been alone for years so it didn�t bother her, but she would be happy when Luke returned form his trip. She went into the living room and started to clean up. She then started to fix the apartment up taking down the old stuff and putting the new ones up. After a few hours of cleaning and fixing the apartment up she was tired and hungry. She knew why it 9 o�clock she had forgot how late she and Leia stayed out. And to think she still had a three days left of this shopping and making arrangements left to do.
Luke found that it was very lonely without Mara with him and he hoped the next few days would go a little faster. A lot of the students were happy that he was back and they would be upset when he had to leave again. But what he had to tell them was important and he knew that some of them already knew. He started his way to morning breakfast where the students were eating their breakfast and talking.
�Everyone I�ve returned for an important reason and will be leaving in a few days again for this reason�I�m getting married,� Luke said.
�To who,� he heard.
�Mara Jade,� Luke said.
If he couldn�t tell there shock from their faces he could tell it from the force and he knew it would take them a while to get used to the idea. On his way out he got a few congratulations from several of the students, but some were still too speechless to talk. He knew this was going to be a long four or five days and it was going to take some time from them except this.
�Hey Tionne could you do me a favor,� Luke asked.
�Sure Master and congratulation to you and Miss Jade,� Tionne said.
�Thanks,� Luke said.
�So Leia which dress,� Mara asked.
�This is your wedding not mine,� Leia said.
�You�re thinking the same thing as me,� Mara said.
�There all beautiful dress but there something missing,� Leia said.
�What if we take the shirt part of this one and shirk part of that one,� Mara said.
�Miss could I asked you something,� Leia said.
It took them the next 20 minutes to talk to a dressmaker about the dress that Mara wanted and how she wanted it. It then took them the next hour for the brides maid dresses. Mara swore that the force was trying to tell her not to get married yet, but Leia said it was her imagination that everything would be prefect. Mara knew that this was true but she had never thought about marriage and family so she wanted everything to go well.
�He wants to take a trip 6 weeks away from our wedding,� Mara said.
�I know Tionne said he had some urgent business to attend to,� Leia said,
�I understand did he say what it was,� Mara said.
�No but he did say it was more a present to you,� Leia said.
�If it�s for me then I�ll only threaten to kill him I won�t actually do it,� Mara said.
�Mara as you said there�s still 6 weeks until the wedding,� Leia said.
�Yes but I thought I�d be spending some of that time with Luke,� Mara said.
Luke landed his x-wing and got out and waited for Artoo to do the same as he looked around the planet. He was now in a part of space that had no laws that he knew of. This was the uncharted area of the New Republic as it was for the Empire and Old Republic. No one knows that many planets are out here but he knew it would help him find what he was looking for.
�Excuse me I�m looking for Daniel Jade,� Luke said.
�Jade,� a man said.
�Yes,� Luke said.
�Sorry Sir there hasn�t been anybody with that name for awhile,� he said.
�What happened to them,� Luke said.
�The family was killed by the empire and their youngest child Mara was taken. Sweet child three years old and force strong too like her mother,� he said.
�You knew them,� Luke asked.
�Yes I did�watched Emma grow up and marry Foster Jade then they had two children Daniel and Mara,� he said.
�Mara had a heart necklace with a date about two years before she was born,� Luke said.
�It was her brother�s birthday and initials he had one too but of her,� Luke said.
�Thanks a lot,� Luke said.
�You know Mara don�t you,� he asked.
�Yes,� Luke said.
�Who are you,� he asked.
�Luke Skywalker and you are,� Luke said.
�Timothy� how is Mara is she ok,� Timothy said.
�I�ll tell you all about her,� Luke said.
Luke began to follow Timothy down the street when he saw a lot of children coming and a few had red hair but it wasn�t the exact color of Mara�s but it was close. They came to a brown house and Timothy walked in and Luke followed him inside where he saw a lot of pictures of a girl with gold-red hair and green eyes. Timothy went to a brown wooden box and opened it up and there inside was a family of four and this man but 20 some years younger.
�I had babysat Emma for as long as I could remember,� Timothy said.
�So you watched Mara and her brother too,� Luke said.
�Yes,� Timothy asked.
�What happened the day she was taken,� Luke said.
�Her mother was force strong like you and I�but Mara was so much more advance then her,� Timothy said.
�You�re force strong,� Luke asked.
�Yes I just shield very well�Mara was three and trusted everyone. Her father barely made it to me but did. He lived long enough to tell me they took her,� Timothy said.
�She was right she thought he killed her family,� Luke said.
�How is she is she ok,� Timothy asked once again.
�All Mara remembers is her family loved her and all she has is her necklace. She is on her way to be a jedi and we are to be married,� Luke said.
�So she had found peace and a life outside of the Empire,� Timothy said.
�Come with me�to met her and attend our wedding,� Luke said.
�I don�t know,� Timothy said.
�Please I think she�d like to me you,� Luke said covering his words.
�If she doesn�t I�ll leave,� Timothy said.
�Deal,� Luke said.
It had been almost a month since Luke said that he had some business to attend to and left with no word to Mara. Mara was lying in their bed not being able to sleep for the third night in a row. Leia swore it had to do with not knowing where Luke is and the wedding being about 2 weeks away. She had to admit this was scary she never feared for anyone like this before. If he got himself hurt she�d kill him. She closed her eyes hoping sleep would claim her. The next morning her eyes shot open and she stepped out of bed she then started to get ready. She thought she had felt Luke but he would of told her he was coming. So she began to get ready for her day, clean the apartment and make her self some breakfast, until the door opened and Luke steppe inside.
�Luke,� Mara said.
�Hi,� Luke said as Mara ran to him.
�I missed you,� Mara said taking his face in her hands and kissing him.
�I missed you to�I need to talk to you,� Luke said breaking her kiss.
�About,� Mara said.
�I found someone who knew you and your family,� Luke said.
�What,� Mara said.
�He�s here�I know I should have told you but I wanted to make sure and I did,� Luke said.
�Where is he,� Mara said.
�You�re not going to kill me,� Luke said.
�That depends on tonight,� Mara whispered against his lips.
�Mara I�d like you to met the man who watched you and your brother�Timothy,� Luke said.
�Hi Mara,� Timothy said.
�I remember you�you said that my path was different them my families,� Mara said tears forming in her eyes.
�Yes,� Timothy said.
�You always called my your little girl because I�d always go to you before my parents,� Foster said.
�You remember,� Timothy said.
�Some of it,� Mara said.
Mara went up to him and gave him a hug and he hugged her back and Luke could see that he had done the right thing. The man held a package in his hand and when he let go of Mara she noticed it and took it from him. She went to the table and the men followed and she began to open it. It was a few pictures, one of her parents, one of her brother, one of her and her brother, on of her and Timothy, one of her parents, her brother and her, then one of her and her family plus Timothy. Luke took all of them and started to place them by his family pictures when she saw a frame that wasn�t used and she knew what it was for-- Luke and her wedding picture.
�Timothy said he�d be by later,� Mara said.
��That�s good,� Luke said pulling her on the couch with him.
�Luke I got a call form the doctor and you are due for a physical,� Mara asked.
�I am when are you due,� Luke said.
�I had mine a few days ago,� Mara said.
�Mara are you ok that I found him without you,� Luke asked.
�Yes thank you,� Mara said.
�As long as you are happy,� Luke said.
�Well I have to go in for the test on my physical,� Mara said.
�Why,� Luke said.
�He said there was one more test he wanted me to take,� Mara said.
�I�ll go and have my physical taken,� Luke said.
�We Luke you are in prefect shape,� Doctor Vent said.
�Thanks,� Luke said.
�You�ll be happy to know I�ve already gave Mara the results tests,� Doctor said.
�And,� Luke said.
�You�ll have to ask her I can�t tell you,� Doctor Vent said.
�All right�bye,� Luke said.
For Luke the halls seemed longer and more room seemed to be here as he made his way to where Mara was. He had to know if there was anything wrong with Mara and if it was fatal. He already had a feeling that what ever it was it would change both of their lives forever. Mara was in the room with a nurse when he walked in she was talking and she had a wide smile on her face.
�Mara,� Luke said.
�Leia and I have moved the wedding up,� Mara said.
�When,� Luke said.
�Three days�if that ok with you,� Mara said smiling.
�What got you so happy,� Luke said seeing the nurse smile as well.
�Luke I�m pregnant,� Mara said wrapping her arms around his neck.
�Pregnant as in you going to have,� Luke said.
�A baby�our baby,� Mara said kissing him.
�Congratulations,� the nurse said.
�Thanks,� Luke said.
�Well when are we going to tell everyone,� Mara said.
�How about tonight,� Luke said.
They walked out of the room hand in hand and people watching them knowing what they had been told. Luke held on to Mara hand tight as if he let go he�d lose her forever as they started down the street to their home. Leia had agreed that dinner tonight would be great so she could give Anakin his birthday present since his birthday was two days after the wedding. Leia and Mara thought dinner was great. Mara played with Anakin and helped him build his x-wing from the kit she had gave him. Leia had fun just watching her with the kids and knew what the glow was from the she had felt and went to talk to her.
�Anakin why don�t you help Uncle Luke,� Leia said and Anakin was off.
�What�s up Leia,� Mara said.
�So when were you going to tell us,� Leia said.
�You know did Luke tell you,� Mara said.
�No�I�ve been pregnant twice I just know,� Leia said and they started to laugh.
�More sisterly bonding,� Han said.
�As long as there is no shopping nothing,� Luke said.
�What wrong with them shopping,� Timothy asked.
�They re-did the whole apartment,� Luke said.
�Kid wait until you expecting your first kid then the fun really starts,� Han said and Luke only smiled.
�Everyone thanks to my future sister-in-law I get to announce the big news,� Leia said.
�What big new,� Han said.
�Luke and Mara are expecting their first child,� Leia said.
�What Congratulations Kid,� Han said.
�Thanks,� Luke said.
The wedding was only hours away and Mara was nervous as she had ever been in whole life. Her heart was beating faster and faster as she thought about the moment she would walk down the aisle to Luke. Leia assured her that everything would be fine and that she had the same feeling on her wedding day to Han, but her stomach could also be the pregnancy too. Luke was sitting while Han made sure Jacen and Anakin were ready.
�Uncle Luke does this mean that Mara going to be our Aunt,� Anakin asked.
�Yes,� Luke said as Han walked in with Jacen.
�Cool�Dad can I go see Aunt Mara,� Anakin said.
�Can I too,� Jacen said.
�Yes tell them that it is almost time to start,� Han said and they were off.
�Aunt Mara who would of thought,� Luke said.
�Think you have one of those on the way,� Han said.
�Yes I do�but nephews and nieces are better because you can spoil them and send them home,� Luke said.
�Thanks for the advice kid,� Han said.
�Well what is family for,� Luke said.
�It was nice of Timothy to let Karrde give Mara away,� Han said.
�Yes� Timothy said he was more of an uncle then a father,� Luke said.
�Aunt Mara can we come in,� Anakin said.
�See you're already part of the family,� Leia said.
�Yes you may,� Mara said.
�Wow Aunt Mara you look different,� Jacen said.
�Bad or good different,� Mara asked.
�Good,� Jacen said.
�Dad and Uncle Luke wanted us to tell you it's almost time,� Anakin said.
�Jacen where is your sister,� Leia asked.
�I�m here mommy,� Jaina said.
�Good then we are ready to start,� Leia said as the children left.
You know Anakin looks more like his grandfather then Han or you,� Mara said.
�I know he�s more Skywalker than Solo,� Leia said.
�Force strong too�I think he knew I was pregnant before you did,� Mara said.
�He probably did,� Leia said with a laugh.
Mara couldn�t believe everything that was happening to her and she never wanted it to stop and she knew neither did Luke. The wedding had gone on liked planned and everyone was having fun. Anakin and Jacen had been chasing Jaina all over the place while Luke and Mara couldn�t keep their eyes off each other. Han and Leia got up for there third dance and was followed by Luke and Mara who were trying to away form a reporter who wanted them answer a few questions.
�Leia do you remember our wedding,� Han said.
�Yes I also remember your friend Morgue who had bad timing,� Leia said.
�Yes that night of our first public date then a few weeks later we got married,� Han said.
�And then we had three children,� Leia said.
�I wonder what made them realize their feeling,� Han said.
�Only fate knows,� Leia said smiling.
�Yes only fate knows,� Han said.
�Han what is it,� Leia said.
�I�m just remembering a conversation I had with Ben and Luke along time ago�how my life has changed,� Han said.
�Yes it has but for the better,� Leia said.
�Dad Mom Jacen just spilled something on Jaina dress,� Anakin yelled as he came up to them.
�Are you sure about that,� Han said as they followed him.
�Just think Luke that what we have in store for us,� Mara said.
�Isn�t life great,� Luke said.
�Yes it is,� Mara said.
�So what are our plans for the next few days," Luke asked.
�Tomorrow Leia is coming over to help with the nursery plans,� Mara said.
�Then we leave the next day,� Luke said.
�I thought we might go to Anakin birthday party so you can give him your present since you forget it,� Mara said.
�Ok then we leave for one week of just us,� Luke said.
�So where are we going,� Mara said.
�Well I thought we might go to Corellia since no one I know is there right now,� Luke said.
�As long as we don�t go to Tatooine I�m fine,� Mara said.
The wedding began as it ended and Luke and Mara still were dancing when the last couple left and Leia and Han just watched them from afar. Chewie was sitting watching Anakin play with his x-wing toy trying not to fall asleep, while Jaina and Jacen were lying on the ground both asleep. Lando was next to Chewie and was talking to Han while Leia was saying goodbye to the last couple. She went to sit down Artoo was next to Threepio who was also watching the children. All eyes went to Luke and Mara as they finished there last dance and went towards their family.
�Where Timothy,� Mara said.
�He went back to his room,� Leia said.
�I think it time for us all to go home,� Luke said pointing now at three sleeping children.
�I agree with you,� Leia said with a smile.
�I got Anakin, Lando get Jaina, Chewie get Jacen and Threepio go ahead and punch in out entrance code,� Han said.
�Yes Sir,� Lando joked as Threepio was off muttering something about human behavior.
�I�m just happy our home is only a few blacks away,� Leia said.
�Leia we're going to be at Anakin pary for a few minutes before we leave,� Mara said.
�That great where are you going,� Leia asked.
�Corellia since as far as I know no one I know is there�right,� Luke said almost worried.
�As far as I know all our friends are here or on Yavin IV at this time,� Leia said.
�Ok Leia let�s go you�ll see Mara tomorrow,� Han said shifting Anakin in his arms.
�Bye Leia and thank you,� Mara said giving her a hug.
�Bye Mara,� Leia said seeing that Lando and Chewie had already left.
Artoo watched Luke and Mara and they started off and he followed and it didn�t take long before they were home. Luke put in the entrance code and walked inside and Mara followed. He leaned forward and kissed her gently on the lips while Artoo went in the opposite direction. Luke and Mara went in to the bedroom and began to get ready for bed.
�Luke hang this outfit up,� Mara said.
�Can�t it wait,� Luke said.
�It�ll wrinkle and then next time you have to wear you�ll have to iron it so hang it up,� Mara said.
�Yes dear,� Luke said.
Luke had changed in to just sleeping pants while Mara had sleeping pants plus a gray tang top on. Mara watched Luke as he hanged up the outfit and put it in the closet. He then looked at her and she gave him her satisfied smile and he gave her his farmboy smile. She went towards him and he opened his arms to her and she pushed him on the bed and settled on top of him. He pulled her down by grabbing her shirt and kissed her on the mouth letting his tongue rub against her lips but not enter her mouth. Hand roamed up her shirt and pulled it over her head then he went back to kissing her this time letting his tongue enter her mouth and getting a small moan went his hands went inside her pants. She lifted her body from his and pulled his pants down and got as moan form him. Item after item of clothing come off until they were once again joined in mind and body. They rode the wave of passion and desire until both their climaxes hit them and he gave one last thrust and she gave one last cry as her body fell on his.
�Think you can handle this for about 40 or 50 years,� Mara said as she rolled off him.
�Mara with my life style I�ll be lucky if I live that long,� Luke joked.
�You will Farmboy your to stubborn to die,� Mara said snuggling up against him.
It had been three days since they left and Mara had to agree that coming her was a good idea. So far no one they knew had shown up so that was a plus. And Anakin birthday party a few days before had been a lot of fun so Mara couldn�t wait to get back. Luke had decided to go and looked for some place for their dinner tonight and Mara went shopping for something for Leia. When she felt the presence she had not felt in a while and turned around to Callista stand next to her with a smile on her face.
�Hell-O Mara how are you,� Callista said.
�Fine,� Mara said.
�And Luke is he alive,� Callista asked.
�Yes,� Mara said.
�And how is your relationship with him,� Callista asked.
�We�re married and expecting our first child,� Mara said.
�Married and pregnant congratulation,� Callista said trying to sound happy.
�You should say hi,� Mara said.
�You wouldn�t mind,� Callista said.
�He�s my husband but I don�t own him,� Mara said.
�Mara,� Luke said.
�Over here Skywalker,� Mara said.
�You know I have a first name,� Luke said then stopped as he saw Callista.
�Hi Luke,� Callista said.
�Callista,� Luke said softly.
�Congratulation on both you�ll make a great father Mara you are really lucky,� Callista said forcing a smile.
�Thank you,� Luke said.
�I really have to go it�s been good to see you,� Callista said as she rushed off.
�Luke are you ok,� Mara asked.
�Fine,� Luke said.
�Fine Luke you haven�t said one word in three hours and you barely ate,� Mara said.
�I guess seeing her brought back some bad memories,� Luke said.
�Well I have to thank her if it wasn�t for her who knows how long it would of taken me to confess my feelings,� Mara said.
�I guess your right,� Luke said and gave her a soft kiss.
�Are you feeling better,� Mara asked.
�No I�m starving,� Luke said.
�Now there the Luke Skywalker I know and love,� Mara said.
�What�d you get,� Luke asked.
�It�s a present for Leia for her helping me,� Mara said.
�What�d you get her,� Luke asked.
�Bracelet,� Mara said getting it and showing him.
�She�ll love it,� Luke said.
It didn�t take long before there vacation was over and they had to start their way back to Coruscant to start there new life as husband and wife. They also had to begin to get ready for their baby. Leia loved her present and it was also known for those two to have a weekly lunch and talk about anything. The Mara due date came closer and closer and Mara didn�t know if that was a good or bad thing. She also fear having twins but the doctor told her that there was only child. Mara and Luke both agreed that they didn�t want to know the sex of the baby. Leia and Mara expected it to be a boy while Luke said it was probably a girl. Then the day came and Luke had never been called more names in his life then at the moment and knew that the next birth he was staying outside.
�One more push Mara,� Doctor Vent said.
�I�m going to kill you Skywalker,� Mara said pushing one last time.
�No you won�t you love me too much,� Luke said.
�It�s a boy,� Doctor Vent said slapped it butt and it began to cry.
�You were right,� Luke said and kissed her on her forehead.
�Like always,� Mara said as a nurse gave him to Mara.
�I love you,� Luke said.
�I love you too,� Mara said and gave him a kiss.
�So what�s his name,� Leia asked as she picked him up.
�Ben,� Mara said.
�After Ben Kenobi,� Han asked.
�Yes,� Luke said.
�I like it,� Leia said.
�So do I,� Han said.
So where is Timothy,� Leia asked.
�He went back home today, but said he�d be back soon,� Mara said.
�He so tiny,� Anakin said.
�So where you,� Han said and Anakin smiled at him.
�Can I hold him Aunt Mara,� Jaina said.
�Sure,� Mara said.
Leia gently put Ben in Jaina arms as she sat down to hold her baby cousin and Luke and Mara just watched. They started to eat and talk as the children took turn holding Ben. So far life for the Skywalker-Solo family was good and it was only getting better. They only hoped life would continue to be like this, but with a family of Jedis no one knew what going to happen.
