�D�argo what is it,� Chiana asked.
Before D�argo could answer Crichton was already in the room. D�argo was the first to see him and Crichton already had a smile on his face.
�Did I miss the party or something,� Crichton said.
�Crichton,� Aeryn said.
�Yea what up sunshine,� he said.
She got up and rushed over to him and touched his face. She did it soft and gently as if he would break. Tears still were in her eyes and few went down her face. Her finger ran down his face and then through his hair. He closed his as she touched him and before he opened them again she than kissed him. The kiss was a lazy kiss barely touching his lips. She pulled away from him. As he looked her in the eyes their lips seemed to come together again and they forgot everyone else was in the same room. The kiss became more intense with the passion they felt. D�argo and Chiana only smiled at each other knowing how they felt. Rygel was shocked at this displace in public, and Zhaan was happy they went to the next the level.
�I thought I lost you,� she said breathless.
�Never,� he said kissing her forehead.
She let her forehead rest against his and D�argo took this chance to talk to him.
�John what happen�Aeryn said you were dead,� D�argo asked.
�I was�I mean I remembering being shot and talking to Aeryn then I woke up and they told me I was going to be fine, even gave me a few items we used at the camp site,� Crichton said.
�So they brought you back,� Zhaan said.
�Yea, it�s a device it heals cuts, burns, open wounds, they gave us one since we�re a friend to them,� Crichton said.
�Where is it,� Zhaan asked.
�I put it in the infirmary,� Crichton said.
�I must go and see it,� Zhaan said.
�Aeryn there�s something I want you to see,� Crichton said taking her hand and leading her out of the room.
They walked in to the cargo bay where Aeryn�s prowler was. He lifted a box and smiled at her. She followed him as they went down the hallways to his quarters. She walked in and sat on his bed. He pulled what he called a radio and put it on a shelf. He put batteries in the back. She saw there seemed to be a lot of them. He then put a round disk in it. She looked at me and smiled and put his hand out. It started to play a song. He put his hand out for her and accepted it and he puller close. They began to sway back and forth to the beat of the song. She rested her head on his chest and listen to his heartbeat. They seemed do that forever, until another song came on, it was a fast song but they didn�t stop their movements. She looked at him and she kissed him with all her force. His hands went around her waist and under her shirt. Their tongues began to duel each other. For some reason they weren�t close enough. There clothes came off but they didn�t know when. Their bodies seem to crush together and the world outside was a thing of the past and didn�t matter for them. They would face reality later now it was their time.
Waking up once again, Aeryn saw that she was in Crichton�s room and he was lying next to her. She rested her head back on his chest and let sleep claim her again. The test was over and he was happy for this. They went on and their journey came to an end when Aeryn found out what he gave up.
�Crichton what is this,� Aeryn asked holding up a picture.
�Nothing�why,� Crichton said.
�I don�t believe you,� Aeryn said.
�The T�van took me back to earth�but I told them I wanted to stay on Moya,� Crichton said.
�And this stuff is actually your stuff from earth. They took you back to earth and you said what exactly,� Aeryn said.
�Yes this my stuff�I told my family that I was as well as I could be�I told them that I had changed so much that it would be like them coming with me. I took some of my stuff and I came back. I didn�t tell you because I knew how�d you react,� Crichton said.
�How would I react Crichton,� Aeryn said.
�Like this�you�d be angry and blame your self,� he said.
�You had a chance to go home to be with your family and friends why give that up,� she asked.
�Because people and things change. I realized that as much as I want to be on earth I can�t. Remember false earth, that wouldn�t even compare to what earth would really do to me,� he said.
�So I had nothing to do with your choice,� she asked.
�You were a plus to staying here,� he said.
�Next time tell me,� she said.
�I will I promise,� he said giving her a quick kiss.
Aeryn knew there was more but wasn�t going to push him. He would tell her all in time and he knew this. Crichton had a surprise for her. He picked up the chain and ring that his father gave him. It was passed down in his family for generations and he was proud to get it. Aeryn would never agree to wear it on her finger so he thought this would help.
�Aeryn,� Crichton said.
�Hmmm,� she said.
�Can I ask you something,� he asked.
�Sure�in the morning,� she said.
�Aeryn Sun will you marry me,� Crichton said.
�Cri�what you say,� she said now fully awake.
�Will you marry me,� he said showing her the necklace.
�Marry you,� she said.
�Yes�this has been in my family for years. See I was able to pick up a few items before I was taken back here. One was this engagement ring and two wedding rings,� Crichton said.
�I see�I need to think about this,� she said.
�I understand you take all the time you need,� he said.
�Yes,� she said.
�What,� he said.
�I thought about it and I say yes lets get married,� she said.
�Are you sure�� he said.
�Can�t you take the answer and be happy about it,� she asked.
�Nope,� he said kissing her again.
�John we need to talk,� Aeryn said.
�What about,� he said.
�I think people just like to surprise me. First you turn up alive, then you ask me to marry you and now I find out this,� Aeryn said.
�What,� Crichton said.
�I mean it mot enough that we are married now, but this,� Aeryn said.
�Aeryn what is wrong,� he asked.
�Wrong nothing wrong�I�m pregnant,� she said smiling.
�Oh my god�that great, he said hugging her.
He leaned forward and kissed her like he had many times before. Crichton knew that he had made the right choice. He was now going to marry the only woman he had every truly loved and become a father. Who in the world could ask for anything more? He may never see earth, his dad, DK, his sister, or DK again but he was happy. He just hoped that they were just as happy as he was.
�Come on Aeryn Push,� Zhaan said.
�I am�why don�t you push for a while,� Aeryn said.
�Come on baby you�ll almost done,� Crichton said.
�I am never letting you touch me again�get out,� Aeryn said as another contraction started.
�Fine,� Crichton said stating to leave.
�No�John stay,� Aeryn said pain in her voice.
John walked back to his place and held her hand and squeezed his eyes shut so he could block out the pain she was causing. The he felt her fall back on to the bed, his hand as let go, and he heard a cry from a baby. He opened his eyes to see Zhaan cleaning off a tiny child and Aeryn hair was a mess, her face was flash and she was sweating badly but to him she never looked more beautiful. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead and she smiled at him.
�Can I touch now,� Crichton said.
�I guess,� Aeryn said with a smile.
�Aeryn and John Crichton I would like to meet your son, Jackson Talyn Crichton,� Zhaan said as Aeryn took a hold of him.
�He�s perfect isn�t he,� Aeryn said.
�Perfect�now comes the greatest test of all,� Crichton said.
�What test,� Aeryn said.
�Parenthood,� Crichton said with a smile.
All night Aeryn and John sat together John had his arms wrapped around her waist and she was leaned up against him. They just sat there watching Jackson sleep, knowing that that child was made in their love. Jackson was the only one of his kind, but that just made him even more special.
