�Open it,� Jason said.
�Oh it�s beautiful,� Elizabeth said seeing the diamond ring.
�Elizabeth I know this going fast but I think I�m suppose to be with you but,� Jason said.
�But,� Elizabeth said scared.
�But in a few weeks I have to leave for while and I want to leave you protected,� Jason said.
�Breaking up with someone and giving them a ring doesn�t usually happen,� Elizabeth said.
�No I want to leave you as your husband because I�m coming back,� Jason said.
�Why are you leaving Jason, why not wait until you get back,� Elizabeth said.
�Is that what you want,� Jason asked.
�I want to know why you�re leaving,� Elizabeth said.
�I have to help Sonny out and I have to leave for a few months,� Jason said.
�You�re not just proposing because you might not come back are you,� Elizabeth said.
Jason stood up now seeing how this looked he thought it would be prefect. He wanted to know she was protected but he knew that she was the person he was meant to be with. When he looked at her all he saw was the love he felt for her. She was holding the ring waiting for an answer.
�No Emily came over and I told her that love couldn�t even describe what I feel for you,� Jason said.
�Oh Jason,� Elizabeth said.
�Then when we made love I realized I wanted this to go on forever,� Jason said.
�You did,� Elizabeth said.
�Yea you are prefect Elizabeth Webber and life without you wouldn�t be worth living,� Jason said.
�Yes,� Elizabeth said.
�Yea what,� Jason said.
�Yes I�ll marry you,� Elizabeth said handing him the box.
He took the ring out of the box and slowly slipped it on her finger as he looked into her eyes. How could a person find their soulmate in six weeks? They were friends before but they fell in love in the last six weeks with his shooting, his healing, the bomb, and Sonny and Carly. He lifted her up spinning her around Francis heard laughter from outside and smiled at Johnny.
Two days later Francis walked her down the aisle of the church towards Jason who was standing next to Sonny. Johnny was sitting by Roy. Bobbie was the maid of honor and stood up there with a smile on her face. Only the people in this room really knew the truth about their relationship. Only the people in this room knew that they were getting married today on January 18th.
Sonny watched as they said their vows to each other the words spoke by hundreds of people for hundreds of years. Sonny had never seen Elizabeth look so beautiful as long as he known her. She looked different today she looked older less childish she looked like a woman. Jason took the rings from Sonny giving him a smile that said thank you. Walking outside the church Bobbie kissed her on the cheek wishing she could have had a real wedding.
�Where�s your wife,� Sonny asked.
�Asleep,� Jason said.
�She doesn�t know of your plan to leave does she,� Sonny asked.
�Yea I told her...Sonny I want you to forgive your self,� Jason said.
�Jase,� Sonny said.
�No if you didn�t do what you did I wouldn�t have Elizabeth, it all worked out,� Jason said.
�How can you forgive me like that,� Sonny said.
�I told you once...Elizabeth taught me how,� Jason said.
�How can you leave her after marrying her,� Sonny said.
�I�m coming back to her Sonny�promise me you�ll protect her,� Jason said.
�I will I promise,� Sonny said.
The next day Sonny said goodbye to Jason until he came back. Why he was leaving was unknown to him but he pretended to know for Elizabeth sake. Elizabeth knew Sonny had no idea but played along with him at least until Jason left. They stood outside Jason was sitting on his bike looking at her, she hadn�t even told anyone yet. He lifted her hand that had her rings on it.
�I�ll be back soon Mrs. Morgan,� Jason said.
�Will you call me,� Elizabeth said.
�You know I will,� Jason said.
�Do your business and come back to me,� Elizabeth said.
�Most wives would be mad that their husbands are leaving them day after their wedding,� Jason said.
�I know this is important,� Elizabeth said.
�I got lucky when I got you,� Jason said.
�Jason, know that when you get back you won�t be leaving the house for a few days,� Elizabeth said.
�I�m going to leave now so I can get back,� Jason said.
�I love you Jason Morgan,� Elizabeth said.
�There are no words Elizabeth Morgan,� Jason said.
She bent forward kissing him with all the passion and love she could muster in just one kiss. When she broke it she smiled at him and stepped to the side. He waved to her with his left hand she smiled at seeing the gold band. He took off and tears came that she had been holding. She felt Sonny touch her shoulder and she turned around.
�You have no clue do you,� Elizabeth said.
�Nope,� Sonny said.
�He�ll be back he promised and Jason doesn�t break his word,� Elizabeth said.
�Come on it�s cold out here,� Sonny said.
�So how did you two ever met anyways,� Elizabeth said.
�You really want to know,� Sonny said as they got on the elevator.
�Yea,� Elizabeth said.
�He got in a fight with his ex-girlfriend Keesha and I loaned him some money for a cab,� Sonny said.
�Was that after his accident,� Elizabeth asked getting off.
�Yea I never knew Jason Quartermaine I only know Jason Morgan,� Sonny said.
�He told me once you were the only person to look at him like a man not something broken,� Elizabeth said.
�He wasn�t broken, he was just changed,� Sonny said smiling.
Elizabeth gave Sonny a smile and walked into her Pen House suddenly feeling alone. She looked at her hand their pictures would be here in a week. Sonny had paid for the whole the thing, as a present even made them a special dinner. Sonny was becoming one of her closest friends and she knew he would always be around her now. She was his best friend�s wife she was now Elizabeth Morgan.
�Married,� Carly said.
�Yea,� Bobbie said.
�When why didn�t you tell me,� Carly said.
�Jason asked me not to...Elizabeth begged him to but he only wanted two or three there,� Bobbie said.
�Hey Bobbie,� Elizabeth said.
�So you and Jason got married,� Carly said.
�Yes,� Elizabeth said.
�Congratulations to both of you,� Carly said.
�I�ll tell him you said that when he calls,� Elizabeth said
�Calls,� Bobbie said.
�He left on business this morning�won�t be back for a few months,� Elizabeth said.
�You just got married yesterday,� Bobbie said.
�Sonny tried to get him to postpone it but you know Jason,� Elizabeth said.
�Yea I do,� Carly said.
Carly could hear the sadness in her voice but could see the happiness and love in her eyes. She wanted to hate this women but it wasn�t her place. She got his son taken away, married his brother, slept with his best friend. She had no right and she wanted Jason to forgive her. And making enemies with his wife would not do it and Elizabeth was actually a nice women.
�Elizabeth you don�t have many friends anymore do you,� Carly said.
�No Nikolas thinks I�m a slut and Emily hates what I have with Jason,� Elizabeth said.
�I don�t have many friends either so how would you like to go shopping,� Carly said.
�Shopping,� Elizabeth said.
�Consider it a wedding present, a few outfits maybe lunch,� Carly said.
�I�d like that,� Elizabeth said.
�Then let�s go,� Carly said.
�Francis we�re going shopping,� Elizabeth said.
Carly didn�t miss the look that her bodyguard gave her as she said the word shopping. It was a good day they had spent the whole day getting to know another. She found out that Elizabeth was not the sweet angel she had thought she was. Nikolas watched her get out of the car and watched Francis carry her bags as they went in the building.
�Mrs. Morgan Nikolas Cassadine,� Francis said.
�Let him in but be ready to come in,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth,� Nikolas said.
�Hey,� Elizabeth said.
�Nice place,� Nikolas said.
�Thanks I decorated it myself,� Elizabeth said.
�So what�s new,� Nikolas said.
�Jason and I married yesterday,� Elizabeth said.
�What,� Nikolas said as she lifted her left hand up.
�He wanted a very private wedding, us Sonny Francis Johnny Roy,� Elizabeth said.
�Have you completely lost your mind,� Nikolas said.
�Nikolas, keep it down or Francis will come in,� Elizabeth said.
Nikolas looked at her and noticed the difference in her for the first time ever. She stood different she wore different clothing she had changed. He started to walk away then looked back realizing that Elizabeth his brother girlfriend had grown up. She was no long a teenager in love but a married woman in love with her husband. As much as he wanted to accept this all he couldn�t not yet.
�Congratulations,� Nikolas said.
�Thanks,� Elizabeth said.
�I will never accept this and I won�t accept him,� Nikolas said.
�Nikolas,� Elizabeth said.
�When you realize you�ve made a mistake I�ll help you fix it,� Nikolas said.
�Francis,� Elizabeth said.
�Mrs. Morgan,� Francis said.
�Will you please show Mr. Cassadine out,� Elizabeth said.
Emily walked in just as she said that and Nikolas gave her a sad look. He whispered to look at her left hand as he left. Elizabeth didn�t know Emily was there until she turned around and out a gasp. Francis opened the door but Elizabeth explained she didn�t know Emily was her.
�Nikolas told me to look at your left hand,� Emily said.
�Jason and I got married yesterday,� Elizabeth said.
�What�Jason told me you two were just living together,� Emily said.
�We were we got engaged a few days ago,� Elizabeth said.
�Just when I accept something you two spring something on me,� Emily said.
�Em I love Jason and he loved me�so you�re even my friend or not,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth I love you but I do think you�re moving too fast,� Emily said.
Elizabeth hugged Emily as she walked out it would be a while before either of them came back to see her. She was all alone until Jason did whatever he had to do. She looked down at her hand only a few people knew as of right now that they were married. But she knew Nikolas wouldn�t wait to call everyone and tell them. She picked up her bags and started to go through everything that they had bought today.
Audrey just looked at Elizabeth as if she had grown two heads. She was unable to speak Elizabeth felt scared that she was not saying anything. Audrey stood up from the table at Kelly�s and walked out with not even a goodbye. Elizabeth understood she needed time to adjust to the idea of her being Jason Morgan�s wife.
�Elizabeth,� Monica said walking with Alan and Edward.
�Hell-O,� Elizabeth said.
�Emily told us the grand news my dear,� Edward said.
�She did,� Elizabeth said.
�And even though Jason doesn�t want anything to do with us we wanted to say Congratulations,� Alan said.
�Thank you�you�re in the minority right now,� Elizabeth said.
�Give them time,� Monica said.
�If you ever need anything just ask, you�re family now,� Edward said.
�Thank you Mr. Quartermaine,� Elizabeth said.
�Edward,� Edward said.
Elizabeth didn�t know how Edward and Alan did it but they tricked her into coming over for dinner. Francis promised Sonny it wouldn�t happen again. Francis didn�t really want to go to that house. Elizabeth wore one of the new outfits that Carly had bought for her. As she walked in she saw Carly and Emily standing next to AJ who didn�t look that happy.
�Mrs. Morgan is here,� the maid said.
�Come in come in,� Edward said.
�Emily,� Elizabeth said.
�Liz,� Emily said.
�Hey Elizabeth,� Carly said.
�You all know Francis,� Elizabeth said.
�Will you be joining us,� AJ asked.
�I will be anywhere that Mrs. Morgan is,� Francis said.
�Is that Michael,� Elizabeth said.
�Come say hi to Auntie Elizabeth,� Carly said taking him from Leticia.
�Hi,� Michael said.
�He�s grown so much,� Elizabeth said.
Elizabeth spent most of the evening with Lila Carly and Michael playing. Emily didn�t stay for dinner since she had plans with Juan to go to a movie. AJ and Edward talked about business all night, Monica and Alan weren�t there until right before supper was served.
�Hell-O,� Elizabeth said answering the phone.
�Happy Valentine�s Day Mrs. Morgan,� Jason said.
�Jason where are you, are you okay,� Elizabeth asked.
�Yea but I miss you,� Jason said.
�I miss you too...Happy Valentine�s Day,� Elizabeth said.
�I�m going to try and make it home before April,� Jason said.
�What are you doing,� Elizabeth said.
�Business, once I come home I won�t be leaving again without you,� Jason said.
�Everyone knows we�re married,� Elizabeth said.
�How did they take it,� Jason said.
�Nikolas is mad, the Quartermaines accept it, Gram won�t speak to me and Carly is my best friend,� Elizabeth said.
�I wish I didn�t have to do this...be away from you,� Jason said.
�Me either but I understand,� Elizabeth said.
�Go back to that Carly is my best friend thing again,� Jason said.
Jason would be home in two to three months. Elizabeth swore that when he came home she wasn�t going to let him leave again. Things were okay life was becoming simple until later that night when she saw Sonny. He seemed distance like he was way in thought. He didn�t even notice that he was sharing the elevator until Elizabeth touched his arm to let him know it was time to get off.
�Sonny what�s wrong,� Elizabeth said.
�I just got back from the Quartermaines,� Sonny said.
�I�m sorry...why�d you go there,� Elizabeth asked as they come to their doors.
�To speak with Carly,� Sonny said.
�Why in the world would you have to talk to Carly,� Elizabeth said.
�She�s pregnant with my child,� Sonny said.
