Summary: Luke and Mara begin training to be Jedi Knights on Dagobah.

�Start landing cycle,� Luke said.
�Alright,� Mara said as Artoo started to beep at Luke.
�Yes Artoo I�m sure it�s safe for droids too,� Luke said.
�Luke we have problems,� Mara said as she started to see fog and trees.
�What is Luke said.
Mara finally landed the ship with a thump on what she hoped was ground. They both looked at each other and open the hatch and looked outside. There was swamp, trees, moss and fog as far as they could see and they had landed mostly in the swamp area.
�Great how are we suppose to get out,� Mara asked.
�I have no idea�Artoo you stay here we�ll go look around,� Luke said as they started to walk away, but Artoo fell in.
�Artoo�Artoo,� Mara said and Artoo let his eye show. .
�Be more careful�and Artoo that way,� Luke said but before they got on the ground Artoo was swallowed.
�Artoo,� Luke said.
�Great he�s going to be swamp monster main dish,� Mara said as she finished Artoo flew through the air.
�Mara help me get him up,� Luke said.
�Is he ok,� Mara asked.
�Yes let be thankful he doesn�t taste good,� Luke said.
From the distance a man watch the three and gave a sad smile, as he knew why they were here. And next to him stood a short green man named Yoda who also knew why they were there. They watched at they went back to the ship got a few things out and started to ser up camp. Yoda walked towards them, but Ben did not. Before Yoda knew what to do two blasters were aimed at him and put up his hand in defeat.
�I am wondering why are you here,� Yoda said.
�We looking for someone,� Luke said.
�Who,� Yoda said.
�A great warrior,� Mara said.
�War not make one great,� Yoda said.
�His name is Ben�Ben Kenobi and he�s Jedi Master,� Luke said as Yoda tired his food and spit it out.
�Me wonder how you get so big eating food like this,� Yoda said as she went through there stuff.
�Please leave us and our stuff alone,� Mara said as Yoda and Artoo started to fight over a flashlight.
�Artoo let him have it,� Luke said.
�I will hope you�but first we eat come,� Yoda said.
�Mara,� Luke said.
�I think we should trust him,� Mara said.
�Artoo watch camp,� Luke said
�Come,� Yoda yelled.
�Hell-O Luke,� Ben said.
�Ben,� Luke said.
�Yes I see you know the truth about your father,� Ben said.
�Yes,� Luke said.
�Who is your friend,� Ben said.
�This is Mara Jade,� Luke said.
�Jade�are you the daughter of Anthony and Morgue Jade,� Ben asked.
�Yes,� Mara said.
�How are your parents,� Ben asked.
�They died�of Bolian Fever,� Mara said.
�I�m sorry your parents were both great Jedis,� Ben said.
�You start training in the morning now we eat,� Yoda said.
Luke and Mara both took a bowl and filled it with stew that was in the pot. It had a unique smell they had to admit that much, but they were afraid of how it would smell. Luke was the first one to take a bit and make a face, but ate some more of it. Mara began to eat it as well both had to admit it had a taste you could get used too. Yoda watched them closely and gave Ben a small smile as he had seen their destiny it was a hard one, but would be fought together.
Luke would have sworn he had been running for hours as he stared up another hill with Yoda on his back. The small Jedi master whispered things in his head, things to beware of and things he should know. Mara was with Ben learning how to use a lightsaber, but thanks to her father she already knew the basics. Day of like this went on, lightsaber practice, running, learning how call upon the force and control it.
�I don�t believe it,� Luke said.
�And that is why you fail,� Yoda said.
�Luke what happened,� Mara asked.
�Your ship began to sink and he raised it up,� Luke said.
Mara looked at Luke and than back to Yoda. She had no idea what to do and say at that moment in the few months they had been there Ben and Yoda have been in their minds and body. She had never been through so many exercises in one day before and it never seemed to stop.
�Time to rest,� Yoda said and walked off.
�Yes it getting late,� Mara said.
�No he means no training tomorrow,� Ben said.
�Really we get to sleep in.� Luke said.
�Yes do as you please�Yoda and I need to leave and pick up a few things,� Ben said as he got to smile from them.
The night sky was black and a thousand stars shown in the sky. Luke was sitting looking out when Mara came out and took a seat next to him. She wore a white tang-top and gray sweat pants and unlike usual her red-gold hair was down. Luke looked up at her gave his farmboy smile and moved over to let her sit down since he had something to give her.
�Here,� Luke said handing her his lightsaber.
�It�s your lightsaber,� Mara said.
�Yoda had me make one and he was going to have you�but I told him I wanted you to have mine,� Luke said.
�Luke this was your father�s I couldn�t,� Mara said.
�Please there is no one in the world I would rather have it�unless you want to build your own,� Luke said still holding it.
�No�thank you farmboy,� Mara said taking it from him.
He leaned forward and caught her lips with his in a soft but passionate embrace. She leaned a little forward to deepen the kiss when they heard a few beeps behind them. They pulled apart and started to laugh when they saw it was Artoo and they knew why he had done that.
�Artoo we haven�t forgot you,� Luke said.
�How could we,� Mara whispered to Luke.
�Come on let go to bed,� Luke said standing up.
Walking back to the cabin both were amazed that it almost sank today She had thought it was on solid ground but on this planet that was a little hard. It seemed that hard ground one day would swamp ground the next day. As Luke made his way for his bed Mara took him by the hand and turned to look at her.
�Mara they�ll sense us,� Luke said as she moved closer to him.
�So we�ll shield,� Mara said leaning forward.
Her arms went around his neck in a passionate and hungry kiss, at first he seemed to resist but he could only not kiss her back for so long. Letting his tongue rub against her lips she let him enter her and they began a duel that they had tried to suppress for so months they had been there. Luke then went for her shirt letting his skin feel her soft against his chest. Item by items come off until they both lied in the bed eye dark with passion and lust and need for one anther that they needed to fulfill.
�They lasted longer then I presumed,� Yoda said.
�I can�t sense anything Master,� Ben said.
�You don�t have to be a jedi to know,� Yoda said
�Soon they must go,� Ben said.
�Soon but not now,� Yoda said.
Ben and Yoda returned two days later and Luke and Mara were ready to start training again. This time the hours were upped and the lessons became harder. The force had become part of there lived and they needed to know how to use at every turn in there life. Next was one of their finale lessons to know the dark side from the good it would be the hardest but the one they needed to pass.
�Luke,� Mara said.
�My father I saw in I strike him down but it was me,� Luke said.
�It warning us�I saw you die then I fought another man I lost I felt so much anger I forgot everything I learned,� Mara said.
�Now you understand.� Yoda said.
�The dark side blinds you to over come it you must for get you emotions they do you credit but they could be made to serve the emperor,� Ben said.
�The emperor,� Luke said.
�In time you will know,� Yoda said.
Luke and Mara watch them both go towards Yoda small house and looked at one another. He leaned forward and hugged her and she hugged him back. She held on tight for it she let go she felt as if she might lose him. It was strong whatever dark power was here and it scared her.
*Luke,� Mara sent*
*I�m here don�t worry, Luke sent*
Luke let his mind opened to her and she did the same and for a small time they were one mind as he just held her. She knew she had to get a grip on her self but Luke was one person the only person she would let see her like this. He kissed her head and pulled away and looked at him.
�Luke you know we�ve been here for four months,� Mara said.
�Yes,� Luke said.
�I was thinking about Leia�and her wedding,� Mara said.
�I know, but we can�t leave not yet,� Luke said.
Mara moved closer to Luke and he wrapped his arms around her and she closed her eyes. It was rare moments like this that all her drained energy would return if only for a few moments. Yoda and Ben knew that their training would soon be done, but Luke�s finally test would decide the fate of every Jedi to come. Ben walked up to Yoda who seem to be in trance, but Ben knew what he was doing.
�Master its time,� Ben said.
�Yes it is,� Yoda said walking towards them as they made their way back to the ship.
�Luke Mara,� Yoda said.
�Yes Master Yoda,� Luke said.
�Come�its time,� Yoda said and they followed him back into his small house while Artoo listen at the window.
�Your father no longer goes by Anakin Skywalker he goes by Anakin Vader. He once asked to fight me, but declined and he left with much anger. He started to hunt down all Jedis he could, but there were a handful that got away. Yoda, Mara�s parents and I were among them. He and the emperor wanted to make their own government called the Empire it failed in the larger systems, but is known in some smaller systems,� Ben said.
�So the Emperor want all jedis dead and dark jedis alive,� Mara said.
�Why would my father do this,� Luke said.
�We don�t know but you have to face him and bring the Empire to end so it doesn�t spread to the larger systems,� Ben said.
�Kill my own father,� Luke said.
�To be a Jedi Knight you must face Vader and the Empire both of you,� Yoda said.
�We�ll try,� Mara said.
�NO�do or do not there is no try,� Yoda said in a stern voice.
�Then we�ll end the Empire,� Luke said.
�But first we have to go to Alderaan,� Mara said.
