Summary: Leia kisses Han because of a bet, but it has a good effect.

�Did you hear,� a woman said.
�Yes why would he choose her,� another woman said.
�Why would she choose him,� a guy asked.
�He�s hot,� she said.
�And she not,� he said.
Luke tried not to laugh as he heard the people next to him and noticed that Han and Leia�s relationship was the main topic on discussion right now. Luke felt bad for his two friends and he knew that they were trying to act like noting was happening. He knew he had to make them see that people did think they were together and they had to deal with it. He dumped his tray and started his way towards the Falcon to talk to Han first but as fate would have it he ran into Leia first.
�Leia can I talk to you,� Luke asked.
�Sure,� Leia said.
�Leia I know both you and Han are trying to ignore the rumors and pretend there not there,� Luke said.
�Luke there not true so why should I bother and listen,� Leia said.
�Aren�t they�Han gave you that necklace and I haven�t seen you go without it since he did. Every man in this base has asked you out more then once and Han was the only one you said yes to,� Luke said.
�Luke what are you saying,� Leia said confused a bit.
�I�m just saying maybe you should think about this situation a little more,� Luke said and left.
Leia watched him leave and knew where he was going and took a deep breath when she thought about his words. She had heard the rumors and she had pretended that they weren�t anything and that she didn�t care but she did. Leia went to the room where she could see the Falcon to see Han was there. Luke and Han were going inside but not before Han saw her and she smile at him and he smiled back.
�Han you�ve heard the rumors,� Luke said.
�Kid they�re not true so why should I pay attention to them,� Han said.
�Really why�d you give Leia a present and why did you smile when you saw a moment ago,� Luke said.
�She�s a friend�she�s probably want you anyway,� Han said.
�Han I don�t see Leia like that anymore and you know it,� Luke said.
�Really,� Han said.
�Yes, Leia�s more my sister then she is anything else,� Luke said.
�Why would Leia want me,� Han said.
�You see her as Leia and she sees you as Han�maybe you should talk to her and see how deep your feeling go,� Luke said.
�Luke,� Han said.
�Han if you really want to know you have to,� Luke said.
�Han you and Princess Leia will be on a mission Princess Leia has all the information on it,� General Rieekan said.
�Alright General,� Han said.
Han watched as General Rieekan walk down the hall and turn the corner to go and talk to Luke and a few other Rouges. Han then started his way to Leia�s quarters when he found a few people whispering and wondered what Leia must be doing right now. For someone like her, their reputation was everything and being known as Han Solo lover wasn�t a good thing. Or at least he didn�t think so and he knew how she took her job and hoped she didn�t kill him, and this new mission wouldn�t help matters any.
�She�s probably right,� Eva said.
�Excuse me,� Leia said.
�It�s just your not Han Solo type,� Eva said.
�I bet she is,� Cona said.
�You couldn�t even kiss him,� Eva said.
�I don�t do bets especially ones that can hurt a person�s ego since that Captain Solo really has,� Leia said.
�Come on what will it hurt one simple kiss�even for Han Solo,� Cona said.
Han had heard the whole conversation and was trying not to laugh at the simple girl gossip and wondered if she would actually do it. He couldn�t help the smiled that was gong onto his lips as she said more things about his ego. She knew his well even if they hadn�t always got along.
�Leia can I talk to you,� Han said.
�Of course Captain,� Leia said.
�Do it Leia,� Eva whispered.
�Can I help you,� Leia said biting her lip.
�We leave for a mission in 45 minutes,� Han said.
�Yes I know the clothing you are to wear is in my quarters,� Leia said.
�Do you girls always dare each other like that,� Han whispered.
�You heard,� Leia said embarrassed.
�Yes and it won�t hurt my ego,� Han said and started to leave.
Leia grabbed his hand turned him around and kissed him and Cona and Eva just stared in disbelief as he returned her kiss. When they parted they walked there separate ways but with very large smile on both their lips. Leia gave them a small smile as she started for her quarters wondering how long it would take Han to turn around. Han turned around a few moments later remembering she had all the information about the mission. He heard more giggles as he started to follow her and he knew none of them knew or was thinking about the mission.
�Leia we have a mission and,� Han said.
�I know come on in,� Leia said and threw him some clothes.
�These are what I�m wearing,� Han said.
�Yes and here the info read it over and meet me here in 40 minutes,� Leia said suppressing a smile.
�See you then Princess,� Han said with a small smile.
�I can�t believe she actually did it,� Cona said.
�I can�t believe he kissed her back,� Eva said.
�Do you think this means all the rumors are true,� Cona said.
�They�re not true,� Han said and left.
Leia came out in dark blue knee length dress with a flowing type skirt, which was good for dancing she knew this. Her hair was put in top braids like she always wore it. Then around her neck she wore the necklace Han gave and she started to think about what Luke said again. She looked at Han and gave him a small smile that she�s never given him before. He smiled back and walked to her and he noticed the people watching them, but for the first time he didn�t care.
The place was crowed and many couples were dancing and Han had taken Leia�s hand when they entered and she guided him to a corner. Han told her to stay at the table why he went to get them something to drink and she agreed. She stayed in the seat watching and waiting for their contact to come. When Han finally came back he gave her his winner smile and sat next to her.
�Han I�m sorry about earlier I shouldn�t have kissed you,� Leia said.
�Don�t worry about it,� Han said.
�No I feel bad about it,� Leia said.
�Leia it�s ok,� Han said.
�Are you sure I mean I did used you,� Leia said.
�I can find worse ways to be used,� Han said.
�Well he said he�d be here about this time,� Leia said.
It didn�t take long before the contact came and gave then all the information on the empire that he could get and then left again. Han and Leia stayed a little bit longer and then left to tell General Rieekan all that they had been told. After he dismissed them they started back to their quarters. Han could feel the people watching them as he walked her to her door, but once again ignored them and just walked next to her. They finally reached her quarters and Leia gave him a smile and pushed her code in. As she started to enter he grabbed her arm and turned her around so she could see him. He leaned forward and she could feel his warm breath on her skin and then their lips met. Pressing her again the door they were getting lost in the kiss and both forgot they were still very much in public. Breaking the kiss he rested his forehead on hers while she let her breathing settle as he just took in the warm feeling that what Leia.
�I�ll see you tomorrow Leia,� Han said.
�See you tomorrow Han,� Leia said as Han went back to the Falcon.
�Han hey,� Luke said.
�Hey kid,� Han said.
�How was the mission,� Luke asked.
�Successful,� Han said.
�Good Chewie is out getting some more parts and Wedge and I are going on a three day mission,� Luke said.
�Have fun Commander Skywalker,� Han said.
�I will Captain Solo,� Luke said and left while Han started towards the Falcon.
