    Best friends are people that you should love and cherish for who they are. Without best friends life would be boring and lonely.
     I really can't say who my best friends are, because I have so many. My best friend could be Laura,, beacuse we have been friends since we first started school. My best friend could be Tiffany, Marilyn, Devicia,Sterling, or Tarsha, because they befriended me when I needed a friend the most.
      Since I can not choose which one of my friends is my best friend, then I just love them all. I treat every one equally and keep all of them close to my heart, and I am able to talk to them whenever I want to. I never take them for granted and I cherish all of the good and bad times we have had. This is why I call all of them my best friend.
      I would like to thank them for everything they have done for me. I would like for all of them to know that I love them and that I just want to say thank you.

Here is a letter from one of my best friends:

Dear Janet,
    Hey girl! Can you believe what I just found out? I found out that not only are we seniors, but these are our last days together. True we will see each other again, but not as classmates. We will all be going our separate ways and that time is coming fast. So, even though you already know, I just want to tell you that you have been more than a friend to me, you have been a sista, cousin, a confident and all of the other things I forgot. There are so many memories we have shared that all of the letters in the alphabet can't help. We have been together since daycare and I know that we will always be together. Just to share one memory for the Lord. Remember when we were little and ya'll stayed in the Sandhillz. Your mon used to have them haunted houses that were real scary. Do you remember the time that we went to the fair and Patrice started crying on the swings, that was real funny. The last memory will be when we graduate from high school and start a whole new life without being up under each other. It might be hard but we will make it. Notice we were supposed to split up this year, but we ended right back up on band together. Girl we will be o.k. I just want you to keep it real and never forget where you came from and don't forget me. I wish you nothing but success and the happiness you deserve. Stay sweet and never change because I will kill you dead.Always keep in touch and love ya!
