Who do you think are the true heroes in America?
The true heroes in America are the people who have service-type jobs. These people are in the Military, Fire Departments, Police Departments, Schools, and are in the Medical field. These people are true heroes, because the entire United States depends on them to make the nation run smoothly. They sacrifice their spare time, their freedom, and sometimes their lives to ensure the furthering of the United States.
The people that work in the nation's school systems are why we are all here today. Without them, we would not have an education to invent, think, achieve, and serve with. We could not have put a man on the moon without the person who taught Werner Von Braun arithmetic. George Bush would not be president if he did not have a teacher to teach his education. School personnel are the main reason that the United States achieves so much in comparison with other countries.
The young men and women in the Fire Departments, Police Departments, and that are in the field of Medicine are why we are alive today. The Police Department keeps us safe at home and on the streets. They make sure that other individuals do not harm us. The Fire Department keeps fires and other things that could cause fires from harming our property and our families. Without the Fire Department a small fire could turn into a full-scale catastrophe. The people in the Medical field delivered us from birth, and made sure that we had our shots and were protected from disease. When we did get sick, they were there to heal us and continue the research to make sure we don't get sick. The last people that we should consider as true heroes are the people that serve in the military. They are why the United States exists, and continues to do so. They have fought to maintain our freedom and other people's freedom in many different conflicts all around the world. They serve in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army Reserve, Army National Guard, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, and the Naval Reserve. No matter what branch they were in, they sacrificed their time and freedom to protect our freedom.
These people are whom we should consider as true American heroes. With people like them, we can overcome the evils of terrorism and seek revenge on those who oppress us and seek to destroy us. Usama Bin Laden or any other terrorist will not beat the United States. A large reason we won't be beaten is because of everyone with service-type jobs. |
