"The Truth About Sex"
Teenagers talk about sex as if it isn't that big of a deal. But the truth is it is a big deal. Everybody seems to be doing it. But if everybody jumps off of a bridge, would you? Teens need to lok at their actions and the possible consequences a little bit more. So many negative things can come from having sex, such as sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancies. Abstinence is the best prevention. But if you are going to have sex always use protection such as a condom every time, I repeat, use protection every time. Four out of ten girls end up pregnant by the time they reach they are twenty. Do you want a baby or a child support payment at this age? It's okay to wait! Most teenagers nowadays are too self centered and/or irresponsible to have to take care of a baby. I know guys try to force girls to do it but it has to be something you both want to do rather than one person trying to force the other into having sex. If he's a good boyfriend he'll respect you and your decsision when you say no and will wait unti you are ready. This should go for guys to if girls try to pressure them into doing it. Your teenage years are supposed to be the best years of your life. Don't ruin them by giving someone a sexually tansmitted desease or impregnating them or end up pregnant because you made a foolish decision and had unprotected sex. But if you do ever end up pregnant before you are financially able to care for the baby, please don't have an abortion. Give the baby up for adoption. There are lots of couples out there who would love to have children but can't and would adopt the child and care for it just as though it was their own. But alwys remember it's okay to wait! |
