ME
Carla was the name chosen for my parents firstborn child on July 8, 1985.  I am told that I fit into my fathers hand, but by the looks of me now, I would have to have a picture to prove it.  Through my short life of sixteen years, I have realized the important things in life verses the trivial obstacles that I encounter.  Family, school, and goals remain my foundation for living.

Although I prayed many a night for a baby brother or sister, my wish was never granted.  I am the only child of my family, and at this point I wish to remain the only child.   My parents devote their lives to the necessities and wants of their Pumpkin [me].    My grandparents find enough love to share among the many grandchildren.   Whenever I need to get away, my two cats and dog fulfill the void of loneliness.

Presently, I attend Marlboro County High School.  I am a varsity Bulldog cheerleader and actively liven the spectators.  GO DAWGS!  Also I am involved in many academic organizations.  Vice presidency of the Beta Club, member of the Principals Advisory Council, and A Honor Roll student are several titles given to me.  Hard work pays off in the end.

Throughout my life I have always believed in setting high goals and exceeding my expectations.  I truly believe through God all things are possible.  My future plans are to attend the University of South Carolina, major in Economics and Business Administration, and proceed into Law school.   I must remained focused and keep my eye on the finish line.

In everything I do, I try my best.  My parents have never asked for more than my best, so in return I have tried to obey their command.  In the future, I might encounter new people, places, or opinions, but I will always remain Carla.
