The schematics were submitted in 2379 for Operation Paladin, under command of Admiral Rice. When Operation Paladin was taken over by Admiral Sherwin, he ordered an immediate acceleration for the completion of the project

The Omega class vessel has been deemed classified (CODE: Black) by Admiral Sherwin prior to completion, the specifications were never released.

Omega class is the first vessel to be equipped with alien technology, including, a particle synthesis system which is an extremely advanced holographic system which is unnoticeable by sensors.
