BACKGROUND:

Corbin Brown was born in Texas, on Earth. He grew up onboard the USS Steamrunner
with his family, where he developed quite an interest in Starships and Starfleet.
When he was 11 his brother, CJ Brown left the Steamrunner for Earth, where he would
attend Starfleet Academy and graduate with honors.
On stardate 19204.15 Corbin left the USS Steamrunner to attend Starfleet Academy in
the footsteps of his Father and his Brother. Corbin had a hard time in the academy
and that reflected onto his personality greatly, he would joke and make fun to help
himself deal with his situation. It was not until grounds keeper Boothsby took him
under his wing did Corbin start to excel at the Academy, his grades and his
personality increased greatly for the better, and he worked hard his last two years
to be able to graduate second in his class at the academy.
Shortly after his fathers retirement, the starship his brother, Lieutenant Commander
CJ Brown was posted on, the USS Dallas was posted as MIA after disappearing while
patrolling the Romulan Neutral Zone, naturally everyone suspected the Romulan Empire
had something to do with the USS Dallas's disappearance, but no signs of Romulan
involvement could be found, sensor records of the area simply showed the Dallas
disappear, without any sign of distress or engagement with another ship.
This had a devastating effect on Corbin, he took a leave of absence and returned to
Earth where he had daily counseling sessions to try and help him deal with his loss,
he was seen many days walking the grounds of Starfleet Academy next to Mr.Boothsby,
assisting him with his grounds keeping duties and having conversations.
He filed a request to return to duty after 9 months off to recover, Starfleet placed
him on the USS Knight under light duty and had him evaluated to make sure he was
capable of returning to duty, all tests came back OK.
Corbin has since recovered from his loss and has returned to full active duty, the
only lasting effect of his brothers loss is that he now harbors a hatred for the
Romulans that he can barley control, even though there was no evidence found linking
the Romulan Empire to the Dallas's disappearance he still blames them for the loss of
his brother.
