Febuary 15, 2003 - Georgia Southern @ UGA Game 1
     Georgia jumped out to a quick 1 - 0 lead in the first inning of game 1 of a double header.  Georgia tacked on another run in the bottom of the second.  Georgia Southern quickly bounced back in the third inning.  Chris Hanney led off with a walk.  Casey Wheeler single to move Hanney up to second.  Chris Gaddy followed with an RBI single to cut the lead to 2 - 1.  Matt Kelly followed with a walk.  Travis  Turner then came to the plate with bases loaded and ripped a double scoring three runs and giving Southern the 4 - 2 lead.  In the fourth, Georgia pulled back iwthin one run with homerun to lead of the fourth.  Then in the fifth Georgia came back to take the lead when they scored two runs.  GSU was held scorless in the fifth and sixth.  Georgia increased the lead to 9 - 4 when they put up a 4 spot in the bottom of the sixth.  Georgia Southern attempted a comeback when Chris Gaddy lead off with a walk and Matt Kelly followed with a 2-run homerun putting the lead to to 9 - 6.  The comeback effort fell short and GSU lost 9-6.

Febuary 15, 2003 - Georgia Southern @ UGA Game 2
     Game 2 didn't turn out to be much better for the Eagles.  GSU fell into an early 6 - 0 hole by the end of the third inning.  Georgia Southern attempted cut into the lead in the 4th inning when Chris Gaddy led off with a mammoth home run.  Two outs later Brannon Bass equaled the shot of Chris Gaddy.  Georgia got those two runs back in the bottom half of the inning and never looked back.  The final score ended at 11 - 2.

Febuary 22, 2003 - Georgia Tech. @ Georgia Southern Game 1
     Saturdays games got rained out so the Eagles and the Yellow Jackets played a double header on Sunday.  Georgia Tech jumped out to a quick 3 - 0 lead in the top of the first inning.  The Eagles made short work of the Georgia Tech lead by putting up a four spot in the bottom of the first.  Toby Sledge got the Eagles started with a double.  Matt Kelly followed with a double driving in Sledge and Travis Turner followed Kelly with another double driving in Kelly.  The big blow in the first came off the bat of Brannon Bass when he hit a 2-run homerun to finish the scoring.  The Eagles never looked back.  In the second inning, the Eagles posted a five run inning.  After two innings the Eagles led 8 - 2.  In the fifth inning Brannon Bass hit a 3-run homer for his second home run of the game.  The final score was 16 - 5 ended in the fifth on the mercy rule.  Clay Tyre went five strong innings to get the win.

Febuary 22, 2003 - Georgia Tech @ Georgia Southern Game 2
     The Eagles picked up right where they left off in game 1.  The Eagles posted a 5 spot in the bottom of the first.  The biggest blow of the inning was off the bat of Matt Kelly who once again hit a huge 3-run homerun to centerfield.  The Eagles decided a five run first could only be followed up by a eight run bottom of the second.  The Eagles were helped by five walks in the inning by Yellow Jacket pitching.  Toby Sledge had the biggest hit of the inning when he cleared the bases with a grand slam over the right field fence.  Chris Gaddy, Cliff Ellrich, Takuya Nakagomi and Chris Ivester all had RBI's in the inning.  By the end of the second the Eagles led 13 - 0.  Georgia Tech tried to get back into the game in the third when they posted three runs off of four Eagles walks and a single.  Georgia Southern followed the Yellow Jackets in the bottom half of the third with two more runs.  Cliff Ellrich had a solo homerun in the inning while Brad Perry had a double and was driven in with a single by Takuya Nakagomi.  Georgia Southern once again won the game by mercy rule with a 20 - 8 victory.
