| Here, standing on Cemetary Ridge where Union troops were positioned, I had just finished a 3/4 mile walk across the field where Confederate Troops made what would become known as "Picketts Charge" on July the 3rd. This is considered by many to be the most sacred part of the battlefield and the High Water Mark of the Confederacy. I admit, I did get tears in my eyes while walking across. |
