THUNDER VALLEY STABLES
You are invited to the 5th Annual Civil War Days at Thunder Valley Stables!!! Held at rural Thunder Valley Stables, McKean Pennsylvania between Erie, PA and Edinboro, PA.. For those of you that have attended this event in the past years, you know what a re-enactor friendly event they were and the fun everyone had. This is a quality reenactment put on by reenactors. It�s not solely for the public�s benefit and we hope that you find it enjoyable and a re-enactor friendly event! The event is on a sixty five acre farm with almost no modern intrusions and great shaded camping areas. This year we are planning on having battles both days, a tactical on Sunday morning, a special Period Wedding, living history programs, first person impressions, civilian activities, horse drawn wagon tours, which we encourage every one to participate in and a Saturday evening dance plus much more. For those who do not wish to cook or just want to enjoy a good cooked meal, there will be food available to purchase on sight as there has been in the past.
There is a registration fee of $7.00 for anyone 12 and over which will be due by July 1, 2005. Registration is for the first 500 reenactors so make sure you register early. Sutlers set up fee is $25.00. Walk ons and those registering after July 1 are $10.00 and Sutlers $35.00. We encourage everyone to register early so that we have on hand the proper number of port -a- johns, water, straw, firewood etc for the event.
