"The American Civil War Collection"
by Beth Adams

Need to obtain Grandpa's Civil War records?

Civil War Pension Records are very popular among genealogists and family historians because they can establish lines of ancestory.  In the records, the relationships between family generations are often given or implied. Depending on the individual's pension record, you may find information about your ancestors, such as physical descriptions in some cases, places of birth and residence, marriage and death records, and activities and occupations. Pensions and Service Records are the most sought after and widely used records by genealogists and family historians.

Here is your chance to own these valuable records on CD.  Each CD contains a copy of one individual Union soldier's pension record and all associated service records, which are scanned images taken from the actual Union pension and service records located at the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, D.C.
