| Private of 1st Lt. William J. May's Company F, 13th Regiment of Kansas Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled the 22nd day of August 1862 to serve three years during the war. Was discharged the 26th day of June, 1865 at Little Rock Arkansas by reason expiration of service term. Was born in Putnam County Indiana, is 21 years of age, 5' 7" high, light complexion, blue eyes, brown hair and by occupation when enrolled a farmer.
