240Z/260Z/280ZX
On 1969 Nissan under the name of Datsun, Released the 240Z ( Fairlady ) With nissan 2400cc Inline six..Known as L24E. Over the years 240z to 280zx competed spiritedly .. One of the greatest cars that was ever built. It won many national championships, right from the beginning of production of the 240z (1970 for exact ).
The Spec formula on this car is old. But with the aftermarket out this car can still whoop alot of asses. you can probably stuff anything under the hood. With a curb weight of 2400lbs. Thats like a miata.
My goal was one day I will have my own 240z project. With a butt load of stiffen renforcement and suspension for track whoring abuse.. Then power plant be either a v8 from a Lt1 camaro force induced with a vortex supercharger or a high revving RB30DETT.. Most likely I may even drop a KA24DET or if I ever have the budget a VQ35DETT. This car would my trophy car after it has retired as I find another beater.. Of course restoring it to classical specs with a L28ET. I love the 240z looks and its oddly shaped hatch. This a classic. This is a legend. No doubt one of the greatest car produce by Nissan. |
