Well here it is empeg guys... pictures of my CR-V with my empeg-car installed.
Enough of the chit-chat, here's the pics!

Here's the new beast. New rims will arrive Spring 2001.

This is the original (uugh) stereo.

A neat spot for holding things, such as fuses,
while working on the stereo. :)

Here we have the center console removed and
the 2 DIN sized head units installed.

Look at all them wires! Worse then my computer desk.

Everything installed!

Too bad the trim piece won't fit in right on the Pioneer Stereo.

I've given too many demos to count since I installed the
empeg on Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2000. It's now the 13th.

Looks real pretty doesn't it?!

This is what it ended up looking like. I have to make a trim piece
to make the Pioneer look more at home.
I also have a wire running from the empeg to a cassette adapter
to get the sound out of the Pioneer head unit.
I will get something more permanent later!

When you disassemble your CR-V, be careful not to drop anything into this hole. I did, and it was a good thing I had a magnet around to find it with! (Applies to CR-Vs with a manual tranny only.) |

Does anyone know what that extra plug is for?
A: It's for the wiring harness for a hitch!
