Here is a scan from the brochure that I received from Boyd Jr. at Constantines/Flat out Racing in St. John's, NF. He beat the other places pricing on the push bar and PIAA 520 driving lights by $100 to $500!!!

The instructions say to remove two bolts from the CR-V's tie-downs and to re-use them to hold on the mounts for the push bar. The bolts are too short to do this so you will have to go out to find a couple of bolts. Unfortunately for me, my remote location meant I had to drive for about 2 hours before I found a place to buy them. Fortunately I had the trip planned for the very next day anyways.

Here you can see the mount on the passenger side. The bolts you can see are the ones that come with the bar.

Here's a better view of the driver's side mount.

Here's Marvin bolting things together and preparing it for the final alignment.

The tube underneath the front and the plastic underneath the front of the engine and bumper had to be modified slightly to fit. The Honda skidplate would not fit afterwards either. :(

Overall I like the pushbar a lot! It looks excellent and my one year old CR-V looks like a new vehicle again. Here's my list of Pros and cons up to now:

Pros:

Cons:

  • Great looks
  • Nice finish
  • Relatively easy mounting
  • Heavy duty hardware
  • Bolt holes for lights
  • Removeable headlight grills
  • Loss of a great amount of arrival angle
  • Vague instructions
  • Needed additional bolts
  • Skidplate needed to be discarded
  • Plastic and silver tube had to be modified to fit
  • Not sure if this will be a con but the bar is awful close to the bumper
