Some time ago the Independence have been proclaimed, some regions in Brazil stroke on against the new government attacking its forces, supported by Portugal, mainly in North and Northeast zones. It is a light, small, low-cost, easy-maintenance and all-terrain fighting vehicle. Some countries, like Iraq, produced the Cascavel under license in the 198ies. In the First Gulf War, it was one of the main concerns of the American forces. Nowadays, these vehicles have been replaced for more modern ones.
