| hello again and welcome to another installment of city of the month...i am proud to say that this month i had to do very little research...amazingly it was all done for me on the city's very concise website...this month's city is one close to my heart, because it is the only recent city-o-the-month i have been to...so in honor of may and may flowers i give you the harrogate-borough-city less known for its flowers than for its castle (but still known for its flowers)...the beloved... KNARESBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND yes indeed we travel north from africa to the british isles this month...and the only website you need for all your knaresborough information is the city website... |

| which includes everything from history, to tourism, to memebers of parliment (mps), an audio welcome from the town crier, and even accounts of how knaresborough used to be from old codgers...(unfortunately not jack)...so enjoy the city, enjoy the pic of win, jack, and pat (the two most famous knaersborough residents and one not-so-famous pittstown resident[see pic at page bottom]) and enjoy may eh kids...and as an added bonus i have brought back the quote of the month...the quote for may is..."ramona come closer shut softly your watery eyes, the pangs of your sadness shall pass as your senses will rise, the flowers of the city though breathlike get deathlike sometimes, and there's no use in trying to deal with the dying though i cannot explain that in lines"-brother bob... | |||||||
