Weeds
The spread of weeds is an ongoing problem for landcare projects,DPIWE and the Launceston City Council.
Many suburban streets have infestations of gorse,blackberry,broom etc.
It is also not unusual to spot weeds growing in the cracks of the pavers in the central city area.
Quite often weeds have been spread by the home gardener carelessly disposing of his garden waste.
