Protecting Launceston Waterways

The Kings Meadows Rivulet was the    focus for major rehabilitation in 2001

As part of the Olympic Reach Programme tree planting days have been held on National Tree Day

In 2002 the banks are still sparse, much work needs to be done still.
In 2003 the next phase of the Rivulet rehabilitation was comnmenced during which the Launceston Golf Club Dam was reconstructed.

In association with the dam work, the rivulet was realigned ,woody weeds removed and a walkway to the adjacent Punchbowl was constructed.
