Launceston Gardens
The gardeners of the city enjoy visiting the Punchbowl Rhododendron Reserve which was laid out by former Parks and Gardens Superintendent,Frank Dowse.
Frank Dowse is remembered by the impressive gateway to City Park at the cnr of Tamar and Brisbane Street.
The Launceston Horticultural Society help to maintain City Park and provide changing displays at the John Hart Conservatory.
TheCity Park gardens provides inspiration for many home gardens.
John and Ruth Hart were responsible for the garden design of High Winnard,12 Cardigan Street.This property is a regular "Open Garden"
