Barbarian

a native of the planet Earth, usually used in a derogatory sense in reference to slave girls from that planet. Also defined as slave girls captured from outlying regions or cities. Barbarian slave girls from Earth are considered shamelessly sensual.

Bath Girl

Are slaves at the public and private baths. They wear a chain and plate collar. The plate gives their name and cost. They wear towels with nothing beneath them. While swimming, many wrap a long broad strap of glazed leather about their heads like a turban. The bath girls are there for the pleasure of men. Sometimes the girls will pretend to swim away from the men and try to escape but are easily caught by the men.
This is done on purpose as most girls could easily avoid the men if they wished. They become excellent swimmers. It is said they are more at ease in the water than a Cosian song fish.

Below-deck Girl

the term used for slave girls transported in the hold of a ship. They are held in individual cages and because of infestations of lice, all of their body hair is shaved. The term 'below-deck girl' is used derisively especially by those slave girls allowed to remain on deck in cages, who need not have shaved heads, though all slaves on a slaver ship are unclothed.

the term for a slave girl used in Torvaldsland; also called a girl whose belly lies under the sword.

Camp Slave

These slaves are owned by authorized Merchants, who hold contracts for certain seasons or campaigns. The camp girls are kept within the military camp and travel with it. The girls are rented out to the soldiers at fees that are stipulated in the contracts. The fees are fixed and almost nominal.

Chamber Slave

slave of the Priest Kings restricted to use within a particular chamber; these slaves cannot leave the chamber and are to serve the Freeperson living there fully.

City Slave

A slave girl in any city, her duties in the apartment cylinders are largely domestic.

Coin Girl

a slave girl who with a coinbox and triangular flat bell chained around her neck is sent out in the streets of a city to earn money from masters in return for her sexual use; woe to the girl who does not return with a jangling coin-box attached to her neck chain.

Display Slave

a slave girl whose primary purpose is for the display of her beauty to reflect the affluence of her master; often chained in coffle with other display slaves behind the palanquin or other transport of her master.

slave girls abducted from Earth called barbarians. They are considered among Goreans to be the lowest and hottest of slaves.

These slaves are girls that are usually rented in groups, to individuals or organizations for feasts, parties and other functions.

Field Slave

one who works outdoors, usually gardening, fetching wood or water, etc. She is commonly dressed in plain, sturdy slave tunics. Her hair is shorn.

Fighting Slaves

Many cities have arena for gladiatorial combat.

Some male slaves may end up as fighting slaves, either gladiators or bodyguards. Many Gorean cities have arenas for gladiatorial combat. This combat is often quite lethal and many fighting slaves are seriously injured or killed during these games. These male slaves may learn the use of certain weapons, primarily cestae and other common arena weapons. The hook knife is a common arena weapon, either sheated or unsheathed.

Less formal fighting slaves may engage in stable bouts, generally a Low Caste form of entertainment. Many of these bouts are little more than bloody brawls. There are few rules except holds to the death are not permitted.

In most cases, free men do not enter these arena games.

First Girl

slave appointed by the Master to oversee other usually younger or less experienced girls; she rules when FreePersons are not present as the Master, but she is subject to his total authority.

a slave trained in the art of music, specifically the playing of the double flute. They perform at various functions and are available for sexual use by those free men of their audience.

House Slave

one whose primary duties are inside the residence. Duties range from personal serving girls to kettle and mat girls.

slaves who are set out by their master's to entice men for the purposes of empressing as crewmen or in work gangs. While the man is delightfully distracted, her master's men accost him and hustle him away.

A these slaves work in the fields, cultivating and caring for the crops.

Message Girl

Are slaves who convey messages. The collar they wear is a thick, high, leather collar, fashioned by Turians, literally sewn around her throat. Sewn inside, within the leather itself is a message, written on a small piece of rolled rence paper. . The slave girl often does not know that her collar carries a message and of course would never know it's contents.

She can also be used to send secret messages. The girl's head is first shaved and then a message is tattooed on her head. The girl is commonly illiterate. Her hair is allowed to grow back. She will then be sent to the person who is to receive the message. She is also usually given to the receipient to keep as well. Later, her head will be shaved again and the message read. A Physician will then use needles to remove the message.

a slave girl who has been bred rather captured; specifically one that has been bred for a particular trait such as beauty or slave heat or the shape of her lips.

Secret Slave

This is a woman who is a slave but who most believe is free. Her true status is concealed by her master. This deception is difficult to maintain for a long time as the girl becomes more like a slave over time. It is also dangerous as Goreans do not like to be duped and they might take it out on the slave. In Magicians of Gor, Talena was made the secret slave of Tarl Cabot. Talena was Ubara of Ar at that point and Tarl permitted her to remain as such until he came to claim her one day.

Scribe Slave

Scribes that have been captured, they do the bookkeeping no one else wants to do. They are above other slaves with the fact they can read and write, but aren't above, like all slaves, cooking, cleaning and warming the furs.

Seduction Slave

a kajirus used to seduce a Free Woman into violating the couch law and becoming slave.

She-urts

short for 'she-urts of the wharves' homeless free girls - runaways vagabonds orphans etc. - who live near the canals in port cities surviving by scavenging begging stealing and sleeping with paga attendants; they sleep wherever they find space and usually wear a brief tunic instead of Robes of Concealment

a slave girl sold for a fixed price from the side block of a slave auction house instead of auctioned from the main block; used disparagingly.

State Slave

a state owned girl may have various duties, ranging from general cleaning to carrying messages. State tunics and collars are uniform, sleeveless and plain. Considered by most states an unenviable slavery.

Tavern Slaves

The most common type of slave. These slaves are referred to as kettle-and-mat slaves. In other words, they do everything from scrub scullions, cooking, and serving, to warming a Masters furs at night.

a small triangle of diaphanous yellow silk worn across the bridge of the nose and covering the lower half of the face; it parodies the heavy veils worn by free women as it conceals nothing and often arouses the lust of masters.

Waniyanpi

These slaves also known as 'The Sames', a community of slaves who exist in the domains of the Kaiila Tribes. They are owned collectively by the tribes within the lands they inhabit. They grow produce and furnish labor when required. They subscribe to a unisex ethos, bound by 'The Teaching' a cult-like dogma of 'sameness' which says that males, females, animals, vegetables, minerals and abstract concepts are all equal to one.

Among the many oddities is their aversion to heterosexual sex. They breed publically, though anonymously, monitored by their owners at specified times. Homosexuality is tolerated.
