The city of Kasra offer's much to those who visit it. From it's view of the joining rivers, to the goods it importants and exports. No Luxury is left without it is said in Kasra. With a growing tradition of trade with many other's from all over the lands, it is no wonder why this is true. The city welcomes all who wish to establish a place of buisness or even a trading post within it's walls. The following is information on places you will find within the city of Kasra or nearby. The City of Kasra is surrounded by massive walls with four points of entrance, north, south, west, and east. Each point of entrance is guarded by twin towers and a massive iron gate and wooden doors that are braced in time of war. Each tower is home to constant sentry watch with more patrols walking the walls in groups. At the base of each tower is a barracks which is home to the emergency guard who are the first responders during attacks. All are trained archers to harass any enemies foolish enough to get in range. Each corner of the wall is anchored by a massive tower as well, granting extra strength to the walls as well as additional sentry patrols. Attached by these points is also the netting system used to defend against Tarn raiders. Sitting upon the top of the corner towers are also found ballistic systems for launching at enemy troops during sieges. In the Northwest section of the city is the military wing, home to the stables for the Kaiila Calvary which numbers around 3000 strong. The Kasra Kaiila Calvary is lightly armored for quick movement and strikes, a tactic they learned from the people of the Tahari Desert. Going for speed and swift strikes over bulky slow charges. The Military section is also home to another 8000 infantry, of this the bulk is light infantry. Around 2500 of the standing infantry are considered heavy infantry. The primary duty of the infantry on top of security of the city is the defense of the cities outer walls. There is also located in the Northwest military section, about 30 Tarnsman. These elite few are tasked with support of the troops if they leave the city to fight as well as to support the Calvary during there attacks. Near the East wall is a small barracks for the tiny Navy of Kasra which patrols the rivers. Due to the low water levels only small ships are used, these men run supplies to and from the city during war as well as harass nearby troops trying to use the river for water. The Small fleet is made up of 8 Serpent Class Raiders. The primary dock for the ships and other's is a large stretch of the Lower Fayeen River, along this strech is a massive docking system that is primary on land. This gives more space for ships passing in the river as well as for combat action. Only 2 Serpent class ships are ever at the dock at all times, the others patrol the Upper Fayeen River, Lower Fayeen River and the Sub. Equatorial River.
