I am pleased to announce that the 2nd annual
VCU Holi festival is confirmed for Friday, March 21st at the Cultural Center of India. The event will be sponsored by Indian Cultural Organization, South Asian Students Association, Hindu Students Council, and United Skih Association.

Upto this point, we have confirmed that VCU, William and Mary, Virginia Tech, University of Maryland, and UVAs Acapella group Ek Taal will be performing. A variety of other schools along the eastcoast are invited and may also perform. The event is a formal function and will consist of a cultural show followed by a formal dinner (*
Black Tie) and then followed by an After-Party at the Cultural Center of India itself. There will be a cash bar open to anyone with proper ID. Because the event is not funded by the school, ticket prices will be $15. This includes admission to the show, dinner, and admission to the After-Party DJed by D.C.s Dynasty.

All the proceeds will go directly to the
City of Joy Medical Education and Relief Project. We expect a larger turnout than ever witnessed before at a VCU Desi function (hopefully at least 400-600 people). We would greatly appreciate your support for this event and any other help you may kindly offer. Thank you for your time.

Secrets in the City (2001 East Franklin Street, Richmond, Virginia). Please contact Hannah for more information.

Only $3 cover includes: hors d'oeuvres, huge dance floor, popular local DJ (taking all music requests), and a cash bar.

Because of the low admission price of
only $ 3, which includes hors d'oeuvres and DJ, a large turnout is necessary for this event to be successful. So please try to bring all friends and family members that have a 21+ I.D.

Please remember that all proceeds will be directly used for providing free medicine, medical supplies, and healthcare to the indigent population in India. We would greatly appreciate any additional dollar(s) that you may donate, in addition to the admission price, to help and support our cause.

So come join us for a great time and show your support!

Suggestion: Before you come to our party at Secrets, go to Liver Rounds (6-8 PM) at Bailey's Smokehouse and Tavern, 7502 West Broad (from 64 West take the first Glenside/West Broad exit, Bailey's is several lights west on the right). Free house wine, beer, potato skins and hot wings will be provided to VCU students with 21+ I.D. Liver Rounds is sponsored by Medical Student Government.
