Cybertown avatars Jobs Help Related sites HOW TO TAKE A PHOTO IN CYBERTOWN
With "Windows", when you hold "Alt" and press the "print screen" key, you take a shot of what you have on your screen at the moment.
So, if you do this when you are in Cybertown, you take the shot of the Cybertown screen image. :-)
actually, it puts the image in the "buffer", what you need now is to "paste" it in a software used to make images, like Corel, Photoshop, etc.-Click on "alt +print screen" in Cybbertown. (nothing happens)
-Open the program you use to see imaages
(Corel, Photoshop etc)
-Open a "new" (or blank) page(Click on "new" or "blank" in file menu)
-Right click this page and choose "ppaste".
The shot you had in buffer should appear.
Note: holding the "alt" key will make take a shot of the active window.
If you don't hold "alt" and just press "print screen", you'll have a shot of the whole screen
that part is easy, and enough if you just need a screen shot for Security :)
the tough one is how to make a good shot, a "photograph"...
Tips to take the photograph
1) choose "see my avatar" if you want to be on the pic :-)
Right click the screen and choose "view my avatar"
or click the screen anywhere and press A.
2) You can direct the cam using the keyboard numbers from 1 to 0. (see below) Of course, you have to click on the screen, if not, the cursor will be in the chat line.
3) Now, the secret part: press "F12"
You have a FULL SCREEN IMAGE !!!!
(note: this is not working if you have Blaxxun version 5)
4) Click somewhere on the screen and use the numbers to move the camera.
5)When ready, hold the "alt" key and press the "print screen" key
Your pic is in the box !!!
6) Now open the window of your image program, open a "blank" page, right click it and "paste" it.
What you paste is the image you had on your screen.
7) Just save the file on your hard disk, and eventually convert it into JPG file.
How to use the numbers to move the camera:
1 and 2: zoom out and in
3 and 4: "plongée et contre plongée" (in French ;-)
5 and 6: high and low
7 and 8: move right and left
9 and 0: rotations right and left (very useful)USEFUL TIPS!!!
click on the screen, and use those useful keyboard letters:
- "C": collision on and off, so you can cross walls, climb stairs etc...
- "G": stay on the ground option: it will make you stay on the ground, or float in the air if you like...
- If you press "S" while you are wallking, you will go up in the sky!
If the "stay on the ground" is off, you'll be able to float in the air! :-)
- "A" is for "see my avatar"
> - If you hold "J" and click somewherre on the image,
you'll directly jump to that place.
