And all through the place
Excitment was mounting,
Hearts quickened their pace.
When all of a sudden,
Through a window half open,
Zoomed a colorful figure
For whom all were hopin'
He smiled a declared
In a voice oud and steady,
"It's me, Captain Hanukkah,
How are you, already?
I bring holiday goodies
As I zip through the sky,
Oy vey, momma worries,
I don't have to say why."
He sighed and he shrugged,
"I've had such a day,
I almost collided with
some guy in a sleigh."
