Paris is round, and about 10km in diameter. It is surrounded by a highway that is called Le Périphérique and just within this highway are Les Maréchaux, streets named after Napoleon's generals. These internal perimeter roads make an almost unbroken bike route around the city.
 | Check your Paris bike map, and take any major road towards the closest "pôrte" of the city. For me that would be "Pôrte de Pantin". |
