| Our Facility & Location info. Here in Tennessee we have great weather for breeding chickens. Warm summers, early springs and lots of moisture keep our chickens at top prefection. Plus it gives us a lot of time out side to work with the birds. On our 8+ acker farm we have several breeds and plan on working more and more in as the years progress on. All our birds are kept in large cages so to help the mental well being of them all, produceing in more hatchable eggs, healthier chicks, and more sound chickens. Keeping birds in small coops makes them feel traped and frightened, resulting in less egg production and lower quality birds all around. All our birds are kept seperate from the ones we dont want them to breed with as well. So to keep the possibility of crossing the breeds impossible. They are fed the best egg laying feed around here, and boiled eggs mixed with raw fish is fed as a protine substitute once a week. Only the best birds are picked out to be our breeder birds. So all the offspring is only the best of what we can provide. |
