History/Background:
A fighter and adventurer of sorts Jinx supported his family through various means. Some days he was a mercenary for hire, other days he was a champion of justice. During his travels he came across a small band of vampires in a forest, not knowing much of their kind he attacked them out of fear. Hopelessly outmatched he was quickly beaten and killed. Out of cruelty one of them decided to embrace him, then left him to his own devices. Upon awakening he found himself in his own home, covered in blood with the mangled bodies of his kids and wife strewn about. Feeling no end of guilt for what he assumed he did he gave them all proper burials and left his home never to return again, but to seek out atonement for his actions. Through his journeys he has slain hundreds of vampires, drinking the souls of only the most difficult through diablerie in order to increase his own power. He did this not out of hunger for power but out of desire to be able to protect those he cares for and dispose of those of his own kind that have chosen the path of evil. He currently resides in the city of Xenia, having settled there for the moment.
