Orientation to Treve

There is so much to know about Treve, and so I am creating this thread to describe some very important parts to know about Treve. Below is an outline of what to look for and know about before engaging Treve in roleplay. You may be asked questions about them, so during your perhaps week to two week long probation familiarize yourself with all these topics and resources listed below. Not everyone is placed on a probation - it really depends on the choice of our Men.

1.Capture Rules

Assuming you the typist has read the entry page, and more importantly the capture rules page I notify and reiterate the following; - We expect everyone to start at the bottom - Down in Roads, Air, Village, Voltai, --Script your Roleplay and post it to the public Treve Boards. 20 posts as an aggressor are required to find the hidden citadel of Treve and it will be graded for excellent roleplay. Do not try and half ass it here.

For those wishing to live here in Treve: If He/She is born native to Treve then by -our- rules, -We- can allow you access directly to Civitatis Trevis. If your persona does not apply to being trevian born then you are a stranger to be brought in manually by a story teller or member of the home. We would capture, blindfold and bind you and after that the four fates would apply which are; 1) death, (our choice) 2) slavery and sold outside city (our choice) 3) slavery and owned inside treve (our choice) and finally 4) Pledge to the City, ( your choice and our choice to accept ).
Men basically/specifically say I pledge steel and avoid the capture process.

Anyone that is a male member of Treve, who feels they are of able body and combat skill can challenge for the First Sword position at any given time. The First Sword can be challenged once a week.

7. Pulldowns
-Air Meant for flying on tarnback, travelling via Air, Tarn battles

-Roads Meant for travelling near the village or in a road that goes through the mountains towards boswell.

-Village This village is west of the foothills of the voltai. It is a peasant village ran by the elder known as Gondor the Brave a white bearded venerable man within the years of some one hundred and eighty two years old. This village has your typical crops of produce and domestic animals such as verr, vulo and tarsk. The meaning of Iturea is biblical meaning guarded mountain. Trevian men often travel down by tarn from the voltai pillaging the crops and meat once or twice a month from the village with the promise to not steal the Men of the village's daughters and wives - In return for this the villagers give Tarnsmen information from travellers acting as quiet spies to our hidden trevian community. If you are a stranger to the community then anything could happen really unless you are pledged to the village itself and its leader Gondor (NPC ) - Much like the rest of the Territories of Treve the village is a full kill and full capture zone. It is a community, a good place for strangers to roleplay. Slashed Messengers can await answers here within roleplay for example. Visitors can await Trevians to arrive

-Voltai Home sweet Home, the glorious Voltai mountains a pleutora of destinations really. Adventure and obstacles of many sorts lurk here, plenty room for story telling.

-Civitatis A restricted area, Only Civitatis Trevis Citizens enter here, unless you are bound and hooded as captives. Treve does not have guests. Treve will require script to be judged on just how this place was found. There are no maps to Treve, you may have entered someone else's Treve long ago, but this Treve will still require valid script approval, or entering as a captive, hooded and bound by a Man of Treve or driven in by a Storyteller and NPC. All that enter Civitatis without permission will be removed by booting.

8. NPC Registry
Any Member of the Home may register a non player character to use realistically within the room. The rules for this are below as followed

You are allowed to name your NPC.
You are NOT allowed to Rp this NPC outside of Home.
We encourage fresh NPC idea's of a gorean relation that will lead to future roleplays.

9. First Sword , Treve Captains and First Slaver.

-Rask the Ubar is a NPC persona whom only speaks when the Treve Captains need him to speak.
The council here is made up of the the First sword whom is the magistrate and law enforcer of the home. He will protect the Non Warrior Caste and Free Women from harm and insure law is enforced.
The Treve Captains much like a Legislature make up the law and can change the law within Treve. They will work hand in hand with the First Sword and point out things that need to be enforced.
The Treve First Slaver will be in charge of all slaves of {Treve}. He will be sure that the order and law with the slaves are intact and followed through. Once you decide to place a slave in a treve collar you will lose all rights too her until after she has reached phase 3. capacity of a phase 1 through 4 system.
There will be two certificates the Slaver will be administering. One is a certificate of sale saying this slave by merchant law has been branded and assessed and the final is the fourth phase which is a full fledged training course. The cost of these courses are upto the discretion of the Slaver.

12. Moderation of Room

-Messenger - We require to have a name and the word slashed , not sashed for the prom, slashed on the helm. You can not deliver messages here without a notified name in public.
- Disruption of room will result in removal of person in room.

13. Travelling
- Travelling is discussed and Addendumed inside the slave rules and FW rules section. Remember if your in a wilds of Gor women, you are on your own subject to no rescue. We would prefer all roleplay stick to imagine chat unless special events, ceremonies, spars and the like are happening in safety on various chatsites. If you travel to creative-chat, alter realms, or puregor, you are on your own, as I can not travel there - Maybe - Just maybe after the warning to stay off that site, you MIGHT be able to convince another Rari of Treve to come get you out of trouble from there.

14. Subrooms - The Bana Kan-Lara
This is a slavers house within Treve which can not be accessed without knowing the direction too Treve, The standard to accessing this Slavers House is by being a captive, hooded and bound, as well as disarmed. Anyone who enters these subrooms should have valid script of their arrival, otherwise their roleplay will be negated and asked to leave. Free women should not enter without express permission of the Slavers. Sometimes Slavers held private auctions and sells for prominant high caste Free women by exclusive invitation. Sometimes Slavers had Female Apprentices, The bottom line is, No Free women will enter the Slavers House without permission of the House Master.

14A. City Slaves - The Bana Kan-Lara - Additional Rules.
- All City slaves of {Treve} abide by the laws of the Slaver Ezekial
- All City slaves will kennel in the Slavers House PD in main room.
- All City slaves will start roleplay in the Kennels.
- All City slaves will follow the first girls, trainers, kennel trainers, and Master Slavers explicit training

15. Subrooms - The Seven Towers of War
This was found within the novel Witnesses of Gor. This room is for the tarnsmen and scarlet caste. It is a Mens den for training in the art of war. The caste codes are whispered here. Free women should not enter this room, slaves should only enter in case by case requested scenario's. This room too of course can not be accessed unless you are a Trevian Man. Captives would also not enter this portion of subrooms.

16. -FW Cap-
To keep the room at an even keel, Treve has a FW Cap with a 1:1 ratio. Meaning for every Freeman present we will accept one Freewoman, if by chance a Freeman left, we will not be kicking out any FW, but we will not be adding either.

17. The Synopsis in this Treve - !! Important !!

It is very important to know the main synopsis in Treve - Imagine chat is currently focused around the Slavers House known as the Bana Kan-Lara. There are plenty of establishments within the civitiatis such as the physicians cloth, a kailla range in the voltai, a hidden camp within the voltai mountains, and the village of Iturea. Most roleplay does happen within the Bana Kan Lara - as you have read above, we have an NPC Ubar, a First Sword and Captains that assure various government and laws are enforced. However albeit having an Ubar, the citys main influence is the Slavers House and the Master Slaver Ezekial.

If you have read Nomads of Gor (Book#4) You would see that Turia had an Administrator and First Sword however the main roleplay and true leader of Turia was the evil Merchant and merchant house. The poison filled tooth capped Saphrar. This was the man that bought the Karian raiders to attack the wagon people and hired the paravaci torturer.

Furthermore in Assassins of Gor (Book # 5) Cernus was the Master Slaver and albeit being titled assassins of Gor, the book mostly was about a Slavers House and how Cernus wanted too take over power and usurp the City of Ar.

Within Online Gor, places such as Port Kar alter realms have roleplay that surrounds what is known as the Grey Death Thieves Guild - and it too is the center of roleplay for that particular enviroment. With all this said - We do encourage you too make your own roleplay, your own businesses and make your mile stone within Treve - Just know where the True power currently lies. We encourage you too test your mettle and battle the first sword if you think you are strong enough and skilled enough to magistrate this hidden citadel as well.

In the end We welcome you to Gor as Free or slave, We thank You for reading this Orientation, and remember, this is Hard- Core Gor, No need for the shy, timid and fearful to apply, Gor is not Fair, Gor is Harsh, this is Treve, a home of Raiders, Bandits, and Outlaws, and Thieves, known as the Brother hood of the wind. Dominant men rule here....

We do not have visitors or guests...
We have captives here as it states above...
There are no assurances or guarantee's in Gor..
Leave your deal making at the door...

You have been warned.
