- Capture Rules of Treve -
** Every person new to Treve and wishing to Rp here, most start down at the bottom in Village, Voltai, Roads or Air, unless you are a Native Trevian by birth ( or character ).
** Any slave captured and we are not sure how to distribute them, place - Captive of Treve - in their tags until someone can decide if they want to claim them.
** No slave or Free person is capturable until they have obided by our rules and scripted their roleplay atleast once to the Entering Treve Boards. Yes this is a Screening process, Not everyone gets captured or kept.
** In the instance Slaves are captured outside of the Home. Be smart in what you select. If you bring mouthy trash home - Anyone can and will dispose of it accordingly. The Cross roads slaves are typically less than pleasing. Being a -Captive of Treve- is a screening process to see if they will fit the needs of not only the Master but the Home as well.
** Once they are captured, THEN, we can decide their fate, the captive has no choice in their own fate, no freebies, no deals, when they enter treve they may be slave or Free, its a Trevians choice what ultimately becomes of them, with the four options listed below.
** If someone is invited to Treve to r/p below the mountain does not automatically mean we have to be obliged to collar or capture them.
** Some folk are on a Persona Non Grata list known only to the Council for private reasons and will only be discussed if these people arrive; those people on that list will either be asked to leave or be eliminated.
** Once we have made them a captive, anyone can watch them, this is almost like being a camp slave, but a transitionary position, where we decide the following:
Captive of Treve Status for Men and Woman.
- Death
- Blindfolded/Bound and sold elsewhere.
- Claimed by a Trevian as property
- Allowed Freedom and become a member of Treve
Yes any man not of Treve who is not starting Fresh with a new persona as a Trevian is also a Captive to Treve, until we decide His fate, of course swearing allegience and steel is a quick remedy to becoming a Member Id say.
Let me Reiterate that one more time in red font.
"If the Free men pledge steel, then they would not be a captive, for they have, pledged steel". Unfortunately we do not have "guests" to observe for a week in indecisiveness.
By the Quote below, you are legally withdrawn of weapons by gorean book standards. This is our gorean home. You will be stripped of all weapons while inside Civitatis pulldowns. If you want to keep your weapons? Then stay at the Village of Iturea. If you enter Civitatis pulldowns you become our captive, not our guest.
Shortly after the departure of the officer and his retinue I think the terrace, previously muchly cleared, must have been reopened, for I had scarcely closed my eyes, sitting at the wall, when I felt hands fumbling at the lock gag, opening it. Are you all right? begged the Lady Constanzia. Her eyes were wide with fear. Yes, I said. Her companion, the scarlet-clad fellow, had removed his cloak. It was muchly wound about his arm, constituting in its way, it seemed, an improvised shield. Strangers in this city are not permitted to carry weapons. pg. 499 Witness of Gor
As for Free woman whom arrive and become captives, If they exhibit or stress a level of properness depicting a proper Freewoman, they too, may be considered as pledged to Treve as a Free woman of Treve, it is a chance thing, rolling the dice of fate, having been travelling Home. Here I would say that you should post to our boards with your " Arrival " stating your status as Free woman and how you would like to be considered to keep your station and be a healthy productive Free Citizen of Treve, here your caste also may become important and into play as well.
Addendum: ** The Village of Iturea is a roleplay resource outside of Treve and is an option as well for roleplayers to involve themselves in the peasant lifestyle of roleplay.
For Male Captives...
My pledge is steel, I said.
Terence smiled. We of Treve, he said, understand such a pledge.
---Raiders of Gor, p 272
For Female Captives...
I AM A SLAVE GIRL.
I LIVE TO BE THE OBEDIENT, GRATEFUL,
VULNERABLE OBJECT OF
SUCH LUST AND POWER.
I HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED OF IT.
I WISH TO BE CHOICELESS,
TO BE OVERPOWERED,
AND MADE TO SERVE.
