Costumes

For those of you who are interested in costumes for the LARP, I have friend at my old LARP that can make one for you relatively cheaply.  Follow the following steps and we will see about setting you up.

Prices

·        Kimonos range from $35 to $45
·        Hakamas range from $25 to $35
·        Obis are about $7 and Stiff Obies are about $15
·        Shirts are unlisted, but should be reasonable.

The prices are not final and do not include shipping.  As the storyteller I am not actually providing these goods, just putting you in contact with someone who could and filling you in basic information about her goods.

Procedure

Step 1:  Look this list of pictures to see if there is a style you like.  Save the image and send it to me when you are done

Step 2:  Take your measurements.

For Kiminos we need your height and waist size (at largest point)

For Hakamas we need your waist at belt and length of small of back to floor.

Step 3:  Send the electronic images and measurements to my email account.  I will forward them on to Cheryl Godwin who makes these.  She is typically very good about responding to emails, but give her 2 weeks to get back to you.

Step 4:  Cheryl Godwin will contact you to finalize the deal.  From this point on you will deal with her.  I am willing to vouch that she is an honest person and I have had excellent dealing with her.  This is not however a monetary guarantee that she will perform as expected.  If you have any trouble with dealing with her I will do my best to intercede.

Step 5:  You send Cheryl money, she sends you a costume.  If she is not consumed with her personal life I would expect the process to take about a month.  She makes costumes for fun and to make a little extra money.  She does not tailor full time and has a full time job.
