A Mountainrange....
As you climb slowly up the mountainside, with legs that feel like lead, you finally reach the top. Breathing deeply as you survey the valley below, you nearly fall over. It is a huge, HUGE valley, covered with various plants and trees and such, and it is completely surrounded by mountains on all sides. An icy mountain wind blows through the sky, making you shiver. Looking around once more, you see a small, but definite green shape moving around down there. Feeling stronger than before, you scramble down the remainging moutain, and go to find that small green creature.
On ground at last, you look at your surroundings. The valley is pretty much the same as they looked from above, only bigger. You notice, however, a glittering pale amethyst cave hidden in the thick foliage, and forge ahead. The cave itself, seemingly carved from true amethyst, is magnificent. Even in the somewhat dim light of this valley, it glitters like gold. Running your hands along it, you nearly pitch forward into the opening.
Opening your eyes some time later, you cry out at the pain in your side. You peer around through swollen, sore eyes. You are in the cave, and resting on a surprisingly warm cot, or a makeshift bed of leaves and moss. You are in the very back of the cave, so the chill winter wind doesn't come this far. Suddenly, you hear the clatter of claws on stone, and try to sit up, without success. Pulling the blankets over your head, you wait for the worst. But it never comes. You gigngerly remove the blanket, and see a small dragonet staring at you!
