This did not seem to me to be fair. But I did not complain. The men decide what is fair or unfair, and will, in any case, do precisely as they please. It is the girl’s part to abide by their decision. The men decide; the girl submits. One must be master, one slave.

Slave Rules

Greeting/Serving Order:
Free will be greeted  and offered service in the following order: your Owner, Master Garou, Free Men of Laura, Visiting Free Men, Free Women of Laura, Visiting Free Women, slaves.

"She-sleen," hissed Ho-Tu.  "How is it that you first serve wine to a strange man at the table of your master?"

(Assassin of Gor; page - 89)

Serves will be offered individually with the slave moving to the feet of each Free person before offering. Mass offers are considered rude. Unless instructed there will be no sweetening of vessels.*

"He extended the goblet to me. "Drink," he said, offering me the cup.  I looked at the rim of the cup. I shook with terror.

"A slave girl dares not touch with her lips the rim of that cup which has been touched with the lips of her master," I whispered.

(Captive of Gor;  page - 302)

*I fail to see how this practice began, nowhere is it spoken of in the books, however it is mentioned several times that a slave must never place her lips where the mouth of a Free man would be placed.  By this logic it doesn't make much sense that I would rub dubious parts of my anatomy on that same area I couldn't even touch with my mouth. - fyre

Yesterday evening I had been forced to aid Eta in serving the men, carrying meat to them in my teeth; later I had moved among them, as they had summoned me, pouring them wine and paga. I must take the goblet, fill it, kiss it delicately and proffer it to the male.*

(Slave Girl of Gor; page - 53)

Trembling, I extended the goblet to him. He did not take it. I shrank back, confused. I did not know what to do. I realized then that I had, in my confusion and distress, forgotten to place my lips upon the goblet in subservience. I quickly pressed my lips to the goblet, kissing it. Then, suddenly, as I was to hand it to him, I boldly, again, lifted the goblet’s side to my lips. Holding it in both hands, I kissed it again, lovingly, delicately, fully, lingeringly, my eyes closed. I had never kissed a boy on Earth with the helplessness and passion that I bestowed upon the mere goblet of my Gorean captor. I belonged to him. I was his. I loved him! I felt the metal of the cup beneath my full, pressing lips. I opened my eyes. I proffered, tears in my eyes, the cup of paga to my captor. It was as though, with the cup, I was giving myself to him. Yet I knew I needed not give myself to him, for I was his, and a slave girl; he could take me whenever he wished me. He took the cup from my hands, and dismissed me.*

(Slave Girl of Gor; page - 68 & 69)

*This, however, was rather common, the only distinction is that the slave kisses the side of the vessel, not the rim.  Slaves in Laura are expected to kiss the rim of the glass each time they serve a free man.   -fyre

Travel:
Traveling is strictly prohibited for kettle slaves. Once you are ranked as a serving slave, travel is permitted to safe zones only, meaning any force collar/capture zone is off limits. If personally owned, your owners dictates will be the rule you follow.

I did not know it at the time but girls such as I was to be were not permitted to carry even so slight a weapon as a woman’s dagger. Girls such as I was to be were completely dependent upon the protection of men, and whether they chose to extend it.

(Slave Girl of Gor; page - 39)

Chores:
You should know well enough what needs done, I expect that everyone has chores at home that need to be done,  I myself have a full laundry basket not 30 feet away from where I am sitting, if I wanted to do chores r/t would be much better and more productive place to do them.  Slaves should be contributing in some way to the role play of the room rather than writing post after post about scrubbing unidentifiable stains out of the tunic of some tarnsman.  Be creative, kajira were beautiful, startlingly sensual and intelligent women not insipid giggling whores.

The major duty of a slave girl, I suspected, was not to cook, or sew, or launder, but to give men lengthy, profound and exquisite pleasures, such as only a beautiful female could give a man, to be to him whatever he might wish, and to give to him all that he might command, and, to the extent of her beauty, ingenuity and imagination, a thousand times more.

(Slave Girl of Gor; page - 69)

Training:
All slaves will be spoken to upon entering a city collar and they will be ranked according to their knowledge of Gor as well as their attitude.  Nothing looks sillier than an obvious pleasure slave roaming around as a mat and kettle. However; Anybody with a 3rd grade education can read one of the Gor novels and I've had far too many people tell me they've been on Gor for so-and-so many years only to turn around in time to see them throw a tantrum because their Master forgot their one week, three day and forty-five minute anniversary.

Interestingly enough I had had only two days of this sort of instruction before I was stopped, and sent from the room, to be applied to other lessons. I was told that my skills in these matters, as they had now ascertained, and confirming reports on my "papers," or "records," were already far beyond the rudiments that I would obtain in such a class. I was simply dismissed from the class, to address myself to other lessons; I had, so to speak, "validated that requirement."

Third Person Speech:

Third person speech and lower case is not used to define your servitude.  The masters around you are strong enough, should it need defining.  The only real effect third person speech has is that is makes a sentence sound stilted and awkward.  In Laura slaves will use third person as it was used in the books; when they were begging for something, in trouble or commanded to do so by a free.

"Who!" she demanded.

"I did," I cried. "I did!"

"Speak as a slave!" demanded Ute.

"El-in-or betrayed Ute!" I cried. "El-in-nor betrayed Ute!"

(Captive of Gor; page - 287)

"Please, Master!" I whimpered.

"Do you beg? he asked.

"yes, Master!" I said.

"Who begs?" he asked.

"Tuka, the slave of Teibar of Ar, begs" I moaned."

(Dancer of Gor, page - 466)

"Buy me," she whispered. "Buy me. You are rich! You can buy me!"

"Is that how a slave begs?" I asked.

"Buy Tana!" she wept. "Buy Tana!"

(Hunters of Gor; page - 61)

Entering/Leaving:
A slave doesn't need permission to enter as the Free have better things to do than play doorman to a bunch of slaves. but they do need permission to leave. Respectfully request to leave. If you are alone, there is no need to post begging for permission, if no one is around you can see that no one is around.  Why would you ask?  Problem solved.

At that time we heard the fifteenth bar.  Elizabeth looked up at me.  "You are permitted to leave,"  I told her.  She sprang up and returned to the office of Caprus.
