The Hebrides
Over the past 5 years I've travelled the length of the Hebrides from the beaches of Barra in the south to the desolate Butt of Lewis in the north.

These are fascinating islands, each with their individual character and way of life.

On a good day (of which there are many as the weather fronts blow over the islands and drop their contents on the mainland) there can be few more beautiful landscapes in the world.
Clockwise from the below:

Barra's Cockle Strand runway
Berneray Hostal
Cuillins on Skye
Ferry from Eriskay to Barra
Lochmaddy at sundown
Harris from Berneray
Vatersay from Barra
Castlebay, Barra
Tangasdale Beach,Barra
