A week after CITM was released i got an e-mail from a1-online, "Want Your Copy Of CITM Signed..." As usual i though it would be to far away from me, but i read it anyway - then i saw it - PETERBOROUGH! That's just up the road from me! |

When mum and dad got home i showed it to them, the date for the signing was the 26th January 2002, at Tesco Extra in Peterborough. Mum looked at dad and said - "On the 26th of January, a1 are doing a signing in Peterborough..." Dad looked up and then at me, "OK! Yeah you can go!" I cryed my eye's out at the mere thought of meeting a1. I foned my friend Emma, and as I told her about it, and asked her if she wanted to go, all we could do was cry! |

The day before, on the 25th (Friday) me and Emma sat in art, what were we going to give a1? Emma finally decided on a little beanie bear she'd had since she was one, and a letter - both for Mark. I went a brought a Bear for Ben, it was white, with a little red cap, in a heart-shaped Box. On the box it said "You Are Special" then on the bears red cap it said "I Love You". I did a crafty - i put my name, address and mobile number on the back, Can you blame me? :) |

Finally it was Saturday, i sat watching SM:TV while i was getting ready, cuz a1 were on, they were being asked about the signings, I think it was Ben that said, "Yeah we're in Peterborough this afternoon!" I yelped! Trying so hard not to cry...again! We set off for Emma's at about 9.45, we wanted to get there early. We sat in the car reading through the messages that had been sent to me to give to a1, even Me and Emma had put messages in! |

We got to Tesco Extra at 10.30am. As we were walking accros the car park, we sawa stage set up and a few of the Hereward FM crew in Black Thunder around. We went into the queue, and stood waiting, there wasn't many people around, we were in blocks, Me and Emma were in the second block, once the block was full, it was sealed off - and you weren't allowed out. Mum brought us food and drink, but we didn't really drink anything or eat - we couldn't. By 12.00pm we had got chatting to A girl called Erica, her friend (I can't remember her name) and her friends daughter Shannon, we had also started to chat up the security guards - yes please! |

a1's manager Tim, came down, the first plan was to have two members walk down either side of the queue we were in - but then they decided that it was too dangerous (damn!) While me and Emma were chatting Erica and co. My mum was chatting to her friend who works at Tesco Extra, this was at about 2.55pm, a1 were there then! We were dancing to the music - a1 of course, and they were watching us - infront, above us was a glassed off area - windows. a1 were in there watching us dance - only we couldn't see them! Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! |

I had been talking to a Police guy, who was head of security, he knew exactly where a1 were, and when they were coming down - at 4.25pm, he came over to me and said, "a1 are coming down...NOW!" all i could do was shake like a leaf! I told Emma, who screamed! So everyone stood up and got themsleves ready to meet a1! |

As a1 came down, the first person i saw was Mark, my god is he fit!! We were being walked down, as we got pushed forward, there was Paul (WOW!) I handed him the Message Book, "Thanx!" he said, then i gave him the CD cover to be signed, "Happy Brithday" I said, he smiled - but you could tell he didn't wanna be there, had shades on - but you could see he was knackered! Next up was Christian - fit as ever, he looked at me, smiled, winked and then signed my CD cover, "Happy Birthday!" i said...again! "Thank-you!", my god that accent - i had to put my hand on the table to hold my self up! Next was Ben, i gave him the bear, and watched his face light up, "That's really sweet! Thank-You! And by the way, don't worry about your camera not working!", I'd tryed to take a pic earlier, and i FORGOT how to use the camera! Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh! I got one pic - of Christian, and part Of Ben's head!! I just smile at him, trying not to burst into tears. |

Last was Mark, my cousin, Sammie had asked me to say "Hi" to him, she lives in America, she knows who they are, cuz i sent a load of sound clips and pics! So i said, "My cousin Sammie, says "Hi!" Mark." Mark smiled, and asked where she lived, when i told him he said, "Well tell her i said Hi Back!" He handed me back my CD cover, i went to get it back and my hands were shaking, mark said "Cold?" I couldn't say - "No I'm nervous!" So i just smiled and nodded! |

I walked away and burst into tears - I'd met my favourite band of all time! |

Emma was in shock in the car, she didn't say anything. I couldn't stop crying! |

A couple of months later, i was watching a TV show, on ITV Digi (B4 they went bust!) and it had a1's houses, the newest addition to Ben's bedroom was the bear i gave him, and in Mark's house, was the Bear that Emma had given Him! |
