Citizens Aware was founded in 1962 by concerned citizens of the Lamond-Riggs community. The purpose of the organization, a block assocation of the Lamond-Riggs Citizens Assocation, is to create and stimulate greater interest in the security and overall betterment of our community through membership and D.C. Government interaction.
