Projects/Work Experience:
ITS S0/S1/P3 (Integrated Truss Segments) - for the ISS (International Space Station)

Support, design, release and conduct test requirements. Authored C&DH (Command and Data Handling) Acceptance Test Procedure Books (based on requirement documents and constraints). Major tasks are to lead and conduct tests, validate/verify NASA's predefined requirements; and evaluate possible hardware/software problems to determine solution.

Tools: Oscilloscope, MATE3, LBC, PASS1000, MIL-STD-1553 and TBD100.
PL-MDM/TCMS (PayLoad Multiplexer/Demultiplexer Test & Configuration Monitoring System) - for ISS

Design and implementation of test tool to simulate the payload MDM (for the ISS node MPLM). Application was released in TCMS ver 3.2 to support test procedures. Major tasks involved application synchronization, cyclic data (commands/responses), file transfers with the Local Bus FEP through the 1553 bus. Application behaves as RT or BC mode when it applies. Development was on Windows platform (using PASS 1000 1553 PMCIA/PCI/PC3 cards).

Tools: MS Visual C++ with MFC, MIL-STD-1553 protocol, PASS1000 (includind DLL support).
SSAV (Space Station Accounting and Verification) - for ISS (International Space Station)

Support implementation and design of Web-based application. Code implementation involved client/server and database applications, middleware supporting methods (functions), and library functions. Minimal graphical interfaces. Development was on UNIX and DEC Alpha NT platforms.

Tools: C/C++, PRO-C, SQL (Oracle 8) and Java (JDK 1.1).
TSSC (Telemetry Station System Configuration) - Space Shuttle Program

Development and implementation of dynamic replicated shared memory network using a ring topology, compatible with fiber optic technology. Major task was to provide replicated real-time data to all nodes in the network. (Nodes of different platforms e.g. PC/VME/SPARC).

Tools: C; VxWorks and Unix Shells.
SDC/CLCS (Shuttle Data Center/ Checkout Launch Control System) - Space Shuttle Program

Involved in the development, design and implementation of advanced software for processing, interpretation, and display of high rate real-time vehicle telemetry/simulation. Major task was to retrieve data from an Oracle database and develop an Application Processing file for faster data lookups. Heavy Client/Server application (TCP/IP). Development was on UNIX platform.

Tools: C, PRO-C, SQL (Oracle 7) and Java (JDK 1.1).
Research and Development (SL-GMS Graphical Modeling System) - Space Shuttle Program

Application development of advanced software technology for launch processing. Major tasks included development of graphical user interface, data monitoring displays, real-time expert systems and real-time data acquisition system.

Tools: C/C++ and SL-GMS.
