| There are many nationalities represented on the team.Thirteen different nationalities to be exact. That was one of the joys and the source of many frustrations with the team. It was the first year of real team play for the school, and for a number of the players. This also presented some obstacles to overcome. Overall, the biggest task was becoming a team. We did not have our full compliment of players until the very last game of the fall, although we had most of them by game 5. From game 5 on, we started to get better results. The Easter break proved to be a stick in our spokes causing an upheaval in training and then in attitude by the players. Results from that point on were poor. You'll be able to see for yourself by scrolling down. Unfortunately, we did not have enough players to play some of the games after school was over. |
