Travels in Europe: Italy                                                                                                     Rome, Florence & Cinque Terre
Left; the Spanish Piazza (square) in Rome. The Spanish steps are back and to the right from the market. The square was seen in The Talented Mr. Ripley. Right; The David in Florence.
The Coliseum in Rome. We were fortunate enough to catch this rainbow after a pleasant fall sprinkle.
Cinque Terre, Italy is another beautiful location. It is located at the extreme southeast of the Italian Riviera, and is named for the five towns that comprise it. Each town is separated only by rocky coastline, which is possible to hike. I took two days to visit and hiked four of the towns in one afternoon. I came across many interesting doors along the way, most of which led to vineyards. This one on the right was a back-yard door. I think the doors of Cinque Terre would make an excellent picture collage.
Above; The town of Vernazza, second from the North.
