What is the weather like?
The weather is great here. This is the easiest place in the world to forecast weather. The days are warm and sunny with the high temperature about 87, and because of the sea breeze the evenings are always 15 degrees cooler.
How far in advance of my visit should I make reservations?
The island is always busy. We are committed to make your visit everything that you hope for. In order to assure your every desire please plan one year in advance.
Do you have seasons?
No, this is truly the endless summer.
What is transportation like on the island?
We offer you and your guests transportation by shuttle, launch from the lobby dock, and luxury taxi services. Many of our guests ride scooters available from the hotel motor pool.
Where do your guests eat?
The Hotel offers four restaurants in varying degrees of fine dining. The Calypso Grill is great for lunch or standard island fare. Captain LeRoy's Seafood Galley offers an excellent selection of dishes from the sea and steaks. Jimmy's Kitchen has an oriental menu featuring Beef Tatsuda, Chicken Yakitori, and the world's best onion soup.

Can we bring the kids? Do you offer things for the kids to do?
We offer the very best in child care and activities for your kids. There are outdoor activities and crafts scheduled everyday. Our on-staff education specialists lead daily workshops just for kids, and they will actually enjoy learning. Our Dolphin Lagoon offers up close and personal interaction with these stewards of the sea. Native Islanders teach dance and local island crafts, magicians amaze and amuse, and the requisit basket weaving is our specilaty. Mood rings are awarded everyday to the kid with the best basket.
