Jack Fitzwarren
TURNABOUT
Reflective Man

As you can see, Turnabout isn't a typical costumed crook.

Born in Gotham thirty-one years ago, he got into the criminal line of work at the age of nineteen, working as a mook for criminals and costumes all over the Dark Knight's city. He quickly developed a knack for not being where the bullets flew, and soon got the hang of interpersonal relationships enough to be one of the city's big go-to guys when you needed a mook wrangler. Around this point, he was hired by Poison Ivy to make the first overtures of friendship toward Harley Quinn, a task he pulled off with surprising success. It was also at this time that he forged a lasting friendship and working arrangement with the professional assasin Xyrus.

A run-in with the Batman later, Jack found himself headed out of Gotham. Passing through Prague, where he broke one of his cardinal rules (never sleep with an employer) after being deceived into thinking he was dealing with a clone, and a short time in Egypt with Xyrus (during which time he found himself dating Lady Shiva, a decision he doesn't regret but also can't quite believe he made) he found himself in Keystone City.

He liked it there; the opposition might be super-powered, but it also didn't fight as nasty as his hometown. (He would shortly find himself back in Gotham for a brief period, deriving no small amount of entertainment from Xyrus' dalliance with the vigilante Huntress). One day, he had a run in with someone he hadn't expected to; Fire (formerly of the Justice League). He fully expected himself and his team to be overwhelmed, but kept slugging anyway - he depended on his reputation, and his reputation depended on him making sure the job got done.

Fire hit him with a bolt of flaming energy... sputtered... and fell from the sky, powerless. Jack found himself able to manipulate fire energy.

He took the name Turnabout after further testing of his powers and the discovery that each one would peter out with time.

After a stint with LuthorCorps' Special Acquisitions Project in which he was apprehended during a raid on Wayne Enterprises by Robin, he found himself in the Black Orchard superpenitentiary, where he was approached by the grey man Carceri to become part of the new Suicide Squad.

His agreement reunited him with Xyrus, as well as matching him against the alien Tyrant, the transdimensional gladiator Caine, the assassin Deadshot, drug-fuelled speedster Withdrawal, and others. Becoming one of a number of leadership figures in the Squad has been good to Turnabout; he was able to lobby for the Suqad to receive training in useful skills, making them more useful when they would finally be released. He also delivered the killing blow to the noted assassin chief known as the Old Man of the Mountains during a furious battle, and has been continuing to make friends and influence people.

The recent arrival of Poison Ivy on the scene has led to some odd changes; after discovering his power when she tried to mentally manipulate him, an odd dynamic has sprung up between the two. Her experiments are finally leading him to a better understanding of his metahuman nature, among other things...
