NON-DEPARTMENTAL PROFESSIONS

Central Intelligence Agency
Access Abroad: With a successful Influence test, the character can move his Cell, with equipment, anywhere in the world. This may take up to 2D6 days.
Access to Spy Satellite Data and Images: With a successful Influence test, the character can obtain highly detailed images of any area on the planet at any point over 48 hours old. Two Influence tests are required for more recent information up to and including live image feed to a satellite uplink.
Lab/Workshop Access: With a successful Influence test, the character or a member of his cell can gain access to the CIA laboratories or workshops. Related rolls have a bonus of 15% in such circumstances.
Maps: The character has access to the 'uncensored' maps of the world, showing the various secret installations.
More Equipment: Any Espionage based items are purchased at -2RP. Items with a cost of 2RPs are doubled in quantity.

Department of Energy/Office of Energy Research
Access to New Technologies: With a successful Influence test, the character may be able to obtain new and better power sources for otherworldly technology they have secured. The GM has final say; at the least, small items will take D6 weeks, larger items 2D6 months.
Access to Scientists: Scientists can be recruited for 1RP less than usual, or two scientists for 1 if the cost was already 1RP.
Energy Blackouts: With a successful Influence test, the character may arrange for a given area to suffer an energy blackout. The GM may impose penalties or demand multiple rolls for larger areas at their discretion.
Expedited Research: Any research projects being undertaken proceed at 50% greater speed.
Lab/Workshop Access: With a successful Influence test, the character or a member of his cell can gain access to the OER laboratories or workshops. Related rolls have a bonus of 15% in such circumstances.
Species Identification: Aegis has expanded the Human Genome Project remit. With a successful Influence test, a sample may be compared to various alien DNA samples. This check will take three days.

DHHS/CDC
CDC Labs: The character may submit any chemical, viral, bacterial, or toxic substance for analysis. A successful Influence test provides results in one to three days. A failed test means the character must wait for a week. Alien substances take six times as long, and the results may not be conclusive. The GM determines whether results can be obtained.
Dangerous Toxins: With a successful Influence test, a CDC agent can acquire a sample of a dangerous toxin. Two successful tests provide a deadly one. These may not work on nonhuman physiologies.
Dangerous Virus: With a successful Influence test, a CDC agent can acquire a sample of a dangerous virus. Two successful tests provide a deadly one. These may not work on nonhuman physiologies.
Medical Advantage: All medical facilities are 2RP cheaper, any medical staff 1RP cheaper, scientific, drugs, and medical equipment 1RP cheaper, special medical vehicles 3RP cheaper. Any item that had a base cost of 1RP is doubled in quantity.
Quarantine: With a successful Influence test and a good cover story, a CDC agent may quarantine any area. Be prepared for the media outburst; the quarantine can last between 24 hours and a week, according to the nature of the cover story.

Federal Bureau of Prisons
Criminal Resources:
During Cell creation and, later, with a successful Influence test, Criminal Resource Points count double.
Network of Colleagues:
This String effectively means that the Influence skill doubles as the Friend In The Family skill (UA2, p43)

NASA
Mission Access:
A successful Influence test can gain a NASA professional access to any NASA mission. Cover stories may be required for high-security operations.
Satellite Alexis:
Two successful Influence tests allow the Cell to set a target for Satellite Alexis. Due to the nature of psychotrons, the satellite cannot deploy for two days, and will have only an eight hour window on that day. There is a minimum gap of seven days between uses.
Secret SDI Gun Stars:
The remnants of the 'Star Wars' program, GS Fred and GS Ginger are ready for use. Taking up to 24 hours (GM's discretion) to get into position to fire, a character with this String can make an Influence test to fire on any vehicle, structure, or landmark. The projectiles deployed hit with the force of a conventional missile.
Satellite Data:
With a successful Influence test, the character can obtain highly detailed images of any area on the planet at any point over 48 hours old. Two Influence tests are required for more recent information up to and including live image feed to a satellite uplink. The character can also, with a successful Influence test, order a communications filter of all information and transmissions from a certain area for up to a week. Reviewing the data, however, falls to the character.
