GUNTHER LORCAN
Gunther was born to a town watchman and a cleric of Verena, the goddess
of justice, in a small town in the southern Empire.
With such strong influences on him, it was little wonder to those who
watched that he grew up a devout man, and rapidly enrolled in the
town's law-enforcement agencies. With no posts open for Watchmen at the
time, however, he became a roadwarden, and spent his time patrolling
the roads around the area, living for the most part in the open.
It was here that he truly began to think on corruption in the ranks of
the judicial system, confronted as he was by long pauses to think on
and startlingly clear examples of how the rich got away with
everything, while the poor fended for themselves.
Disappointed, he simply rode off one day and joined the ranks of the
adventurers. Now, hooking up with a likely group, Gunther rides toward
Nuln and adventure...
