GMs should be wary of allowing Strings that have cumulative effects for one character here. (Military Training Facilities and Intense Training, for example.)

DEPARTMENTAL STRINGS
Base Clearance: A successful Influence test allows the character into the non-public areas of any military base. Two may be required for high-security bases; three for the Pentagon, unless the character has a good cover story.
DARPA Labs:
With a successful Influence test, the character can gain access to the DARPA laboratories. Science related rolls have a bonus of 15% in such circumstances.
Funding:
Once per month, a successful Influence test can produce two military Resource Points for the Cell. These points can be retained if desired, and are in addition to other Downtime RPs the character may gain..
Map Library:
With a successful Influence test, the character can obtain a highly-detailed map of any area of the world.
Military Training Facilities
: This String can only be taken at character creation. The character gains 25 extra skill points to be spent exclusively on military skills.
Military Satellite Data:
With a successful Influence test, the character can obtain highly detailed images of any area on the planet at any point over 48 hours old. Two Influence tests are required for more recent information up to and including live image feed to a satellite uplink.

US Air Force
Cheaper Military Aircraft: When acquiring aircraft, the Cell pays two Resource Points less than listed cost.
Intense Training: This String can only be taken at character creation. The character gains 25 extra skill points to be spent exclusively on military skills.
Mobility over World: With a successful Influence test, the character may arrange for himself, his Cell, and their cargo to be transported to anywhere in America or any friendly country from any other point in this area. If non-allied nations are involved, two Influence tests are required.

US Army
Cheaper Military Vehicles: When acquiring ground vehicles other than ordinary cars, the Cell pays two Resource Points less than listed cost.
Intense Training: This String can only be taken at character creation. The character gains 25 extra skill points to be spent exclusively on military skills.
Mobility over World: With a successful Influence test, the character may arrange for himself, his Cell, and their cargo to be transported to anywhere in America or any friendly country from any other point in this area. If non-allied nations are involved, two Influence tests are required.

Defense Intelligence Agency
Access to Military Areas: A successful Influence test allows the character into the non-public areas of any military base. Two may be required for high-security bases; three for the Pentagon, unless the character has a good cover story.
Closing Investigations: With a successful Influence test, the character can close any local investigation that can be made to appear to impinge on Defense interests. A federal investigation requires two Influence tests and/or a good cover story.
Military SATCOM Spy Satellites: With a successful Influence test, the character can obtain highly detailed images of any area on the planet at any point over 48 hours old. Two Influence tests are required for more recent information up to and including live image feed to a satellite uplink.

Defense Technical Information Center
Classified and Complete Databases: With a satellite uplink and secured computer, the character may obtain almost any scientific information. Influence tests are required only if the subject is highly classified (how to make nerve toxins) or obscure (the nature of Saurian technology).
Lab Analysis: The character may submit unusual materials or theoretical tactical problems for analysis. A successful Influence test provides results in one to three days. A failed test means the character must wait for a week. The GM determines whether results can be obtained.
Scientific and Technical Access: With a successful Influence test, the character can obtain information from any US military or scientific group other than the NSA.

National Security Agency
Access to Blanket Wiretaps: With a successful Influence test, the character may arrange for any US location to be monitored for specific information or names. The tap takes 2D6 hours to arrange and will be maintained for up to one week.
Codebreaker Supercomputer: The character may submit codes or computer hard drives to the Arizona facility; the hard drive will be returned unscrambled in one week, the code in two days. A successful Influence test will halve the time, with matched successes returning even better results
Computer Security Database: A successful Influence test and a satellite uplink allows the character access to the CSD. During this time, Hacking skill receives a 25% bonus.
No Questions Asked: With a successful Influence test, the character can close any local investigation. A federal investigation requires two Influence tests and/or a good cover story.

Navy
