Groom Dry Lake Research Facility
Alien Technology: A successful
Influence test allows the Cell to have any piece of alien technology
delivered to it – delivery time is D6 hours in the USA, 2D6+5 hours
elsewhere. However, there is a chance the requested technology is not
available, and loss or damage may result in a visit by Aegis'
Internal Security Section. Influence lost if the excuse is not
sufficient is left to the GM to decide, according to the rarity and
usefulness of the technology in question.
Aurora Aircraft: Should the Cell
have an Aurora pilot, a successful Influence test will result in
delivery in D6 hours – you may take immediate possession at the
Research Facility itself. With no such pilot, two successful
Influence tests must be made as one of the pilots must also be
summoned. Aegis has very few Aurora craft; if one is lost, damaged,
or not punctually returned, or if the pilot is injured or killed, the
Cell will come under investigation by the ISS. During this time, the
characters Influence is reduced by 20%. Should they not succeed in
justifying the loss, Influence is permanently reduced by 40%.
Lab/Workshop Access: With a
successful Influence test, the character or a member of his cell can
gain access to the Research Facility laboratories or workshops.
Related rolls have a bonus of 15% in such circumstances.
Research Lab Analysis: The
character may submit alien technology samples or other unusual
materials for analysis. A successful Influence test provides results
in one to three days. A failed test means the character must wait for
a week.
MKULTRA
MHIC-EDOM Device: With a
successful Influence test, the Cell may take delivery of a MHIC-EDOM,
or Microwave Hypnotic Intracerebral Control – Electronic
Dissolution of Memory device. Delivery takes D6 hours in the USA,
2D6+5 hours elsewhere. Only characters with the MHIC-EDOM skill may
use it. Failure to return the device within a week leads to an ISS
investigation; if the excuse is found wanting, Influence is
permanently reduced by 20%.
Mind Control Drugs: With a
successful Influence test, the Cell may take delivery of four vials,
each with six doses.
MKULTRA Facilities: With a
successful Influence test, the character may do research in one of
the MKULTRA labs. Psychic research at such a lab gains a 25% skill
bonus.
Psi-Drugs: A successful
Influence test produces one vial with six doses. Additional vials may
be obtained, but each one at a cumulative -5 penalty to your
Influence on the roll.
Project Cygnet
Cygnet Labs: With a successful
Influence test, the character may do research in the Cygnet labs.
Psychic research at these labs gains a 25% skill bonus.
Psi-Drugs: A successful
Influence test produces one vial with six doses. This test may be
made only once per month.
THOTH Analysis: Records of
remote viewing sessions may be uploaded to THOTH for analysis from a
HERMES II or higher terminal. With a successful Influence test, the
character may receive details of the location viewed. If the location
is sensitive, the GM may impose modifiers to the test. There is,
naturally, a chance Aegis has no record of the location viewed.
Project Moondust
Alien Technology: A successful
Influence test allows the Cell to have any piece of alien technology
delivered to it – delivery time is D6 hours in the USA, 2D6+5 hours
elsewhere. However, there is a chance the requested technology is not
available, and loss or damage may result in a visit by Aegis'
Internal Security Section. Influence lost if the excuse is not
sufficient is left to the GM to decide, according to the rarity and
usefulness of the technology in question.
Blue Fly Transport: A successful
Influence test allows the Cell to request covert extraction from
almost any location in the world, assuming they have some means of
ranged communication. The default time for extraction is 6 hours; a
matched success halves this, while a crit reduces it to one hour.
Lab/Workshop Access: With a
successful Influence test, the character or a member of his cell can
gain access to the Moondust laboratories or workshops. Related rolls
have a bonus of 15% in such circumstances.
Project Rasputin
Psychotrons: A successful
Influence test allows the Cell to take delivery of an uncharged
Psychotron. Two successful rolls are required for an already-charged
specimen. In either case, the Cell takes possession for one week.
Failure to return the device within a week leads to an ISS
investigation; if the excuse is found wanting, Influence is
permanently reduced by 20%.
Rasputin Facilities: With
a successful Influence test, the character may do research in the
old Rasputin labs. Psychic research at these labs gains a 25% skill
bonus.
Satellite Alexis: Two successful
Influence tests allow the Cell to set a target for Satellite Alexis.
Due to the nature of psychotrons, the satellite cannot deploy for two
days, and will have only an eight hour window on that day. There is a
minimum gap between uses of seven days.
